Who can attend: The MSMEs who are engaged in manufacturing of consumer products, medical equipments, electronic devices and other general engineering products can attend this seminar.
Principals, Head of the Departments, Professors and faculty members from professional colleges who are guiding students(B.E/ M.Tech) for their final year project can attend this program.
Product designers, Industrial designers and packaging designers
The main objective of this seminar to create awareness about funding scheme available for professional design project as well as student design projects.

Design Clinic Scheme

For MSME
This scheme is for Micro, Small & Medium scale Industries(MSME). Under this scheme the MSMEs will get 60% of the total design & prototyping cost as financial assistance from the Govt. of India.

For Students
As part of the Design Clinic Scheme for design expertise to MSME sector, full time UG/PG students of design education institutions in their final year/semester are provided opportunity to take up dissertation projects of the duration of minimum 4 to 6 months to work with MSME units in area of product design, process innovation, Visual communication and strategic design domains.
The scheme supports students project work by reimbursing 75% of expenses incurred subject to maximum of Rs 1.5 lakh for final year student projects done for MSMEs under the supervision of parent Design Institution.
