Global Economic Forum ceremony at University of Oxford UK 🇬🇧 Dr. Hari Krishna Maram, the founder of the Global Economic Forum and extended honours to the Chancellor of the University of Oxford, The Rt Hon the Lord Patten of Barnes, KG, CH, PC, Christopher Francis Patten, and Professor Irene Tracey, CBE, FMedSci, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford. Notably, Prof. Irene Tracey, as the 273rd Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford, is the second woman to hold this prestigious position in the university's 1111-year-old history.

China is pushing the boundaries of digital healthcare with a groundbreaking virtual hospital powered entirely by artificial intelligence. 🇨🇳 This system uses a network of 14 AI doctors designed to simulate real clinical environments, where they can independently assess symptoms, analyze patient data, and deliver diagnoses within seconds. Built using advanced large language models and medical datasets, the system has reportedly demonstrated high accuracy rates in controlled testing environments.
Developed by researchers from top Chinese institutions, this AI hospital can handle thousands of virtual patients simultaneously—something impossible for traditional healthcare systems. The goal is not to replace human doctors, but to support them by reducing workload, speeding up diagnosis, and improving access to care, especially in regions facing doctor shortages. Early reports suggest the AI doctors can diagnose a wide range of common diseases and provide treatment recommendations based on standardized medical guidelines.
However, experts emphasize that while the technology is promising, real-world deployment still requires strict regulation, human oversight, and extensive validation to ensure patient safety and ethical use. AI in healthcare must be transparent, accountable, and used as a tool to assist—not replace—human judgment.
