The Good Sam Wound Care and Rehab Centre in Sumanahalli, Bangalore is running full for 3 months in a row and we now have a wait list for those with spinal cord injuries and other conditions and nasty wounds who are waiting to come in and be cared for and rehabilitated by our amazing team.

We need your support to expand our facility and service capability and need it now more than ever.

Recently, our camp at Sumanahalli concluded, where we offered specially customized offloading footwear, assistive devices, and Orthoses to individuals facing severe mobility challenges, due to issues with their feet.
Witnessing some individuals, who were previously wheelchair-bound, stand and walk for the first time was a very heartwarming experience.

I extend my gratitude to our generous donors, our partners at Mobility India, and all the dedicated members of the Good Sam and Sumanahalli Society teams for their unwavering effort and commitment. Together, we are "Transforming lives, one at a time".

This week marked a significant milestone as a group of young women completed their Tailoring Program at the Roshini Centre. These graduates were equipped with essential tools for their trade, including sewing machines and tailoring kits, enabling them to embark on their journey towards financial independence as skilled tailors.

A heartfelt expression of gratitude goes out to Mrs. Maria, our esteemed Chief Guest, for her unwavering support and inspiring words of encouragement that have undoubtedly uplifted these aspiring tailors. Additionally, we extend our sincere appreciation to Mrs. Heera, the dedicated leader of the Roshini Center, whose steadfast commitment over the years has been instrumental in shaping the success stories of these individuals.

Three days ago, we recently provided 23 children with moderate to severe disabilities from villages around Kalaburgi (Gulbarga) with customised mobility aids, assistive devices, and prostheses. These children can now move about with ease, confidence, and a sense of inclusion.
A special thanks to our aids and appliance partner, "Mobility India," for their timely delivery and professional on-the-ground support.
We are also grateful to "Mother Theresa Charitable Hospital" and "Sumanahalli Society" for their unwavering community-level assistance and Support.

Our Wound Care and Spinal Cord Injury Rehab team organised a medical camp at Anekal and Attibele on Sunday, 7th Jan. This was with the help of our partner AIFO India.
We met some young people who were paralysed due to different accidents and rare conditions, (the youngest being 6 yrs of age.)
We treated wounds and educated family members and caregivers on the importance of rehabilitation and on wound care techniques.
Some, agreed to get admitted at our Sumanahalli Centre in Bangalore and be rehabilitated.
