The Zilla Jal Baithak is conducted in DC's Conference Hall, Barpeta today. The meeting has been graced by the Chairperson, Barpeta Zilla Parishad in presence of the Hon'ble MLA, Sarukhetri LAC, the CEO, Zilla Parishad, the Executive Engineer (PHE), Barpeta Division, ZP Members, BDOs, and officials from the PHE & P&RD. During the meeting, discussions were held on the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission and other ongoing rural water supply initiatives. Emphasis was laid on sustainability of the schemes, tariff collection and ensuring water quality and utilization of 15th FCG Tied Grant as well as proper use, operation and maintenance of SBM-G assets at GP level.
