On 14th October 2026, an Awareness Programme was organized at Town High School, Barpeta to celebrate the International Girl Child Day. The objective of the program was to sensitize the students on various issues affecting a girl child and the need to protect and nurture them. The program highlighted the adverse affects of child marriage on girls the importance of girl educationand the various laws protecting them. Other topics such as substance abuse, cyber security, menstrual hygiene were also discussed. Informative short videos were screened on those important topics including Child Marriage, Menstrual Hygiene, Substance Abuse, digital and Cyber Security creating awareness among the students in an engaging manner. It concluded with the distribution of awareness leaflets among the students to further promote knowledge, safety and responsible practices.

On 9th October 2026, an Awareness Programme was organised at Sarukhetri Senior secondary School, Barpeta as a part of the Sewa Sankalp by W&CD Dept ,Barpeta. The objective of the program was to sensitize the students on various issues affecting the children as well as the society. The highlight being the I'll effects of substance abuse, cyber security, menstrual hygiene. Informative short videos were screened on those important topics including Menstrual Hygiene, Substance Abuse, digital and Cyber Security creating awareness among the students in an engaging manner. On 7th October 2026, an Awareness Programme was organised at Dakshin Jania Oriental High School, Barpeta as a part of the Sewa Sankalp Abhiyaan. The objective of the program was to sensitize the students on various issues affecting the children as well as the society. On 19th September, 2026, an Awareness Programme & Bal Sabha was as a part of the Observation of Sewa Sankalp Abhiyaan organised at Gahia High School, Barpeta. The objective of the program was to sensitize the students on the Ill effects of Substance Abuse on the Youth and Society as a whole. Along with this the pledge to make India a drug free country was also taken. Besides this the importance of Cyber Security was also emphasized. The students were made aware about the various frauds happening through cyber space. It concluded with the distribution of awareness leaflets among the students to further promote knowledge, safety and responsible practices.

Ajanta Neog chaired a review Meeting at Cuircuit House Conference Hall, Barpeta..Meeting is attended by MLA, Barpeta LAC,D.C,ADC(SW), DDC, CEO,Zila parishad, DSWO, CDPOs, DCPO,DHEW Staff n all Poshan Staff. Informative short videos were screened on important topics including Adolescent Health primarily focussing on mental health, Menstrual Hygiene, Substance Abuse, digital and Cyber Security and Child Helpline Numbers, creating awareness among the students in an engaging manner. It concluded with the distribution of awareness leaflets among the students to further promote knowledge, safety and responsible practices.
