International Women's Day" was celebrated in Kalgachia, Barpeta on 8th March, 2026 in collaboration with Foundation for Social Transformation (FST). An awareness program was organised highlighting the rights and laws & regulations protecting women. 5 women excelling in various fields who have shown courage while break the existing norms were felicitated in relation with the occasion.

On 24th Feb, 2026, we attended the Governor Assam Kishori Samman Sankalp Programme at Nehru Girl's High School, Barpeta. The session highlighted on the topics - Child Marriage, the concept of Gender, Trafficking, Digital Literacy, Cyber Crimes and how to safely use social media platforms and raising awareness about Financial literacy and independence especially for girls. Activities like the 'Web of Safety' and 'Safe and Unsafe' were conducted to demonstrate the students about trafficking and the importance of digital literacy.

On 23rd Feb, 2026, we attended the Governor Assam Kishori Samman Sankalp Programme at St Mary's High School, Barpeta. The highlighted topics of the session were Child Marriage, Digital Literacy, Cyber Crimes and how to be Digitally Literate to tackle those, and raising awareness about Financial literacy and independence especially for girls. An essay competition, recitation and debate competition was also conducted among the students.

An Awareness Program was organized on 18.02.2026 at Belbari LP School Field, Barpeta as a part of the Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The program highlighted about the various negative effects of Child Marriage on the society and the various attrocities against women were discussed along with special emphasis on various schemes and policies safeguarding women. The various schemes under Mission Shakti were also extensively discussed.

On 17/02/2026 an Awareness program on prevention of Child Marriage & on other women related violence is organized at Baghmora Char G.P Office premises under BBBP..G.P president, Secretary, Gao Burhas, Social workers,AWW, students & parents are present in the meeting .

On 12/2/2026 an awareness programme organized at Keotkuchi H.S School, Barpeta under 100 Days Campaign of BVMB by W&CD , Barpeta. A quiz competition organized quickly along with the awareness .

An Awareness Program was organized on 04.02.2026 at Mandia GP Office, Barpeta as a part of the Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The program highlighted about the various negative effects of Child Marriage on the society and the various attrocities against women were discussed along with special emphasis on various acts, laws and legislations to safeguard women. The various schemes under Mission Shakti were also extensively discussed. Besides this awareness about Nari Adalat was also conducted.

Aadhaar seeding/Enrollment drive camp was held on bhawanipur ICDS under Barpeta District.

An Awareness Camp was organized on 22.01.2026 at Khandakarpara High School, Barpeta as a part of the Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The program highlighted about the various negative effects of Child Marriage on the society as a whole along with special emphasis on various acts, laws and legislations to safeguard women. The various schemes under Mission Shakti were also extensively discussed. Along with the program an Adhaar Seeding camp was also set up.

As part of the Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat Campaign, an Awareness Camp was organized on 07.01.2026 at Chakchaka ICDS Project, Barpeta. The highlight of the program included discussion about the various negative effects of Child Marriage on the society along with special emphasis on laws and legislations safeguarding women. The various schemes under Mission Shakti were extensively discussed. Along with the program a health camp was also set up for breast cancer screening. Also an Adhaar Seeding camp was set up.

Today on 24/12/25 an Awareness programme is conducted as a part of 100 days Campaign of VBMB at Bamuntari High School, Barpeta. A short movie on child marriage also presented along with that plantation under BBBP carried out.
