Had a productive meeting with Dr. Thallada Bhaskar, Eminent Scientist & Director, AMPRI Bhopal, to explore collaborations on new materials development from agricultural residue for advancing the BioEconomy in Madhya Pradesh.

The initiative aims to create value-added products that benefit both farmers and entrepreneurs. Also visited AMPRI’s advanced testing facilities and reviewed some of their innovative product developments.

A high-level meeting was held at AIGGPA under the chairmanship of Prof. Rajeev Dixit, Vice Chairman, AIGGPA, and Shri Asheesh Singh, Mela Officer & Divisional Commissioner, Ujjain, to discuss institutional support and the signing of an MoU for strengthening preparations and ensuring the smooth ex*****on of Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2028 at Ujjain.

The meeting was attended by Shri Bibash Kumar Thakur, CEO, AIGGPA; Shri Rishi Garg, Director, AIGGPA; Shri Raushan Kumar Singh, Collector, Ujjain; and Shri Pratham Kaushik, Mela Administrator, Simhastha Mela Authority.

An MoU was signed between AIGGPA, Bhopal and MANIT, Bhopal to strengthen collaboration in the areas of Energy and Economics, Semiconductor Chip Design and Technology, Urban Governance, Rare earth material, AI, Public Policy, Rural & Urban Development, and Training & Capacity Building.

The MoU was formally signed by Shri Bibhas Kumar Thakur (IFS), CEO, AIGGPA, and Dr. Anupama Sharma, Dean (ID & IR), MANIT Bhopal, and exchanged in the distinguished presence of Prof. Rajeev Dixit, Vice Chairman, AIGGPA Bhopal, and Dr. Karunesh Kumar Shukla, Director, MANIT. Prof. Santosh Vishwakarma, Chief Scientific Advisor, Shri Rishi Garg (IAS), Director, AIGGPA and other faculty members from AIGGPA and MANIT were also present.

This partnership will drive research, innovation, and good governance, paving the way for sustainable development in the state.

Centre for NRM & D-Gov, AIGGPA convened an insightful and enriching brainstorming meeting, chaired by Prof. Rajeev Dixit, Vice Chairman, AIGGPA on & with Dr. Sunil Chaturvedi, a renowned hydrogeologist, author and Director, VIBHAVARI, also popularly known a Pani Wale Baba.
Focused on integrating traditional knowledge with science, implementing policy reforms, and actionable strategies for resilient agriculture and water management.

दिनांक 30/03/2026 को अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी सुशासन एवं नीति विश्लेषण संस्थान परिसर में माननीय मुख्यमंत्री मध्य प्रदेश शासन एवं संस्थान के अध्यक्ष श्री डॉ. मोहन यादव जी ने संस्थान में “ भारत रत्न अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी स्मृति पटल ” का अनावरण किया। इस उपलक्ष्य में संस्थान के उपाध्यक्ष प्रो. राजीव दीक्षित जी एवं अन्य अधिकारीगण की उपस्थित रहे।

In order to explore opportunities in Subsectors, a Stakeholder Consultation on the Strategic Role of BioPharma in Advancing Madhya Pradesh BioEconomy was held at AIGGPA with Chief Guest, Shri Vivaswan Hebalkar, Organizing Secretary, Vigyan Bharti (Central & Western Region), Prof. Rajeev Dixit, Vice Chairman, and other dignitaries. Experts from academia, research institutions, business, civil society, and government talked on the advantages and disadvantages of biopharma's expansion in order to create a better ecosystem.

A Task Force on BioEconomy Meeting was organized in presence of Prof. Rajeev Dixit, Vice Chairman, AIGGPA & Director AMPRI Prof. Thallada Bhasker and under the chairmanship of Prof. Gobardhan Das, Director, IISER, Bhopal to explore opportunities in BioAgri, BioPharma and BioMedical, BioIndustrial and BioResearch & BioIT. Experts from Academia, Research Institution, Industry, Civil Society and Government Officials discussed policy support, investment opportunities and innovation ecosystem to accelerate the state's bioeconomy growth.
This initiative will help position Madhya Pradesh as a leading Bioeconomy destination in India.
