G7 leaders have come together with a clear message: the internet should be a safer place for children.

For the first time, the world’s largest economies are united behind a shared goal - making sure children can learn, play, and connect online without being exposed to harm. What does this mean in practice?
✅ Platforms should be built with children’s safety and privacy in mind from the start
✅ Strong age assurance – with better tools for parents
✅ Faster action to tackle AI risks and harmful content
✅ A clear commitment to stop technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and abuse.

There’s also a big focus on helping children build the skills they need to navigate the digital world safely, and making sure companies step up and take responsibility.

This is real global momentum backed by G7 leaders and joined by the leaders of Brazil, Egypt, India, Kenya, and the Republic of Korea. The challenge now is turning these promises into action that makes a difference in children’s daily lives.

Together, we’ll keep pushing for a safer digital world.
