ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଆମ ମା', ମାଟି ଆଉ ମମତା । ଅନେକ ମହାପୁରୁଷଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଚେଷ୍ଟା ଓ ତ୍ୟାଗ ବଳରେ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ଓଡ଼ିଶା ପ୍ରଦେଶ ଗଠନ ହୋଇଛି।

'ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଦିବସ' କେବଳ ଏକ ଉତ୍ସବ ନୁହେଁ, ଏହା ହେଉଛି ଆବେଗ। ପ୍ରତିଟି ଓଡ଼ିଆଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱାଭିମାନ ଓ ପ୍ରଗତିର ପରିଚୟ। ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଦିବସ ତଥା ଉତ୍କଳ ଦିବସର ଅନେକ ଅନେକ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଓ ଅଭିନନ୍ଦନ ।

The devastating fire at SCB Medical College, Cuttack, resulting in multiple fatalities, is extremely distressing. I extend my deepest sympathies to the families who lost their loved ones and pray for the peace of the departed.

I also wish a speedy recovery to those with serious injuries and urge the state government to ensure top-notch medical care for all the injured.

I have been blessed by the love, affection and support of the people of for the past more than 25 years. I am highly indebted to the people of Odisha and their love towards me and my late father Biju Patnaik.

Previously our family decided to donate its ancestral property ‘Anand Bhawan’ in Cuttack. In the same spirit, I would like to forgo the salary and allowances hiked for Leader of Opposition which the Odisha Legislative Assembly has recently passed. I would like to request Honorable CM Shri Mohan Charan Majhi ji to utilize the same for the welfare of poor people of our state.

Remembering Dharam Ji on his 90th Birthday, Who carried a warmth that touched generations and a grace that defined an entire era of Indian cinema.
