The theme for National science day 2025

" Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & Innovation for Viksit Bharat " perfectly captures the inspiration that our youth can derive from the journey of Our pioneer and eminent physicist CV Raman sir on whose discovery" the Raman effect",he was awarded the prestigious nobel prize and also to commemorate this discovery the National science day is celebrated .

National Science Day on 28th February 2025 celebrated by Bargarh Science Centre, Tukurla.

Collector, Bargarh , ADM, Bargarh along with Deputy Secretary, Science & Technology Department were present on the ocassion.

A science exhibition was organized where 60 projects from different schools were participated.

Odisha Bigyan Academy celebrated National Science Day on 28th February 2025 in collaboration with Sri Sathya Sai College for Women in the College Campus.
Dr. Nisith Kumar Mohanty, Chief Consultant Nephrology and Transplant Physician, Apollo Hospital, Bhubaneswar and Mr. Dipankar Rath, IT Specialist were invited as Guests on the occasion. Prof Bibhuti Bhusan Mishra, President, Odisha Bigyan Academy, Prof Ashis Kumar Mohanty, Secretary, Odisha Bigyan Academy, Mr. Sunil Kumar Rath, Former President, Management Committee Sri Sathya Sai College for Women, Dr. Debjani Singh, Principal of the College were present on the occasion.

Dr. Nitish Kumar Mohanty, discussed on Health Management through exercise, sleep and diet.
Mr. Dipankar Rath discussed on the role of Artificial Intelligence in the present society its technical use and benefits.

Debate, Essay, Art, Quiz, Project and Poster Presentation competitions (in science) in Senior Group and Junior Group among the students of Sri Sathya Sai College for Women, Ekamra College, Maharshi College of Natural Law, Kamala Nehru Women's College and Sri Sathya Sai High HB School, Future Bhubaneswar school etc. were conducted.
All participants of the competitions were given participation certificates and about 31 winners by were awarded with merit certificates and prizes on the occasion.

Observation of National Science Day 2025 at Mayurbhanj Planetarium cm Science Centre, Keonjhar Planetarium cm Science Centre, Burla Planetarium and Pathani Samanta Planetarium Bhubaneswar.

Quiz competition organised for students and Night sky watching programme is also organised for students and public.

Krushna Chandra Patra, Hon’ble Minister, Science and Technology & Food Supplies and Consumer welfare visited Science City, Kolkata on 04.02. 2025. The most attractive part of the Science City was Climate change Gallery titled “on the Edge” was more innovative and informative.
The other attraction of Science City were Earth Exploration Hall, Space theater, Time machine, Space Gallery and Butterfly Garden.

ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ବାୟୋଟେକ୍ନୋଲୋଜି କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଥିବା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରାଜ୍ୟର ଅର୍ଥନୀତିକ ବିକାଶରେ ବିଶେଷ ସହାୟକ ହୋଇପାରିବ। ‘ଉତ୍କର୍ଷ ଓଡ଼ିଶା’ରେ ‘ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟସେବା, ଔଷଧ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଏବଂ ବାୟୋଟେକ୍ନୋଲୋଜି’ ବିଷୟରେ ହୋଇଥିବା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରୀୟ ଅଧିବେଶନରେ ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗୀ ଓ ବିଶେଷଜ୍ଞମାନେ ଏନେଇ ମତ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି।

ଏହି ଅଧିବେଶନରେ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ବୈଷୟିକ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ମାନ୍ୟବର ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ କୃଷ୍ଣଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ପାତ୍ର, ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ଚିତ୍ରା ଆରୁମୁଗମ ଏବଂ ପାନାସିଆ ବାୟୋଟେକର ସହଯୋଗୀ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ଡକ୍ଟର ଅମୂଲ୍ୟ ପଣ୍ଡା ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିଥିଲେ।
