Students of Pingalakhi College of Special Education (D.Ed & B.Ed – HI & VI) visited Manodaya, Bhubaneswar for academic exposure and learning about rehabilitation and support services for persons with Intellectual Disability. Foundation Day of SIEP, Ganjam was celebrated on 2nd February at IIC, Ganjam with great enthusiasm. The programme was graced by Dr. Saravana Vivek M., IPS, SP Ganjam, along with DSSO, Ganjam and Programme Director, People’s Forum. Cultural performances by CwDs and their mothers added joy and warmth, reflecting unity and commitment towards empowerment.

The 77th was celebrated at Manodaya with pride and enthusiasm. The National Flag was unfurled by Secretary,SIEP Smt. Sonia Behera along with Smt. Sonalika Suman, Asst. Director, NCSCDA. SIEP children enthralled the audience with patriotic dance performances.

Based on commuter feedback, Route No. 94 has been introduced with effect from 22.01.2026. The route will operate from BSABT to SIEP, Jatani, via Jatani Gate and Jatani Railway Station.

The festival of Basant Panchami was celebrated at the SIEP Satellite Centre, Ganjam, with the participation of Children with Disabilities (CwDs) and their parents.

Dr. Prashant Utage, Paediatric Neurologist & Founder, Umang; Mr. Bankim Kalre, CEO, Centre for Green Mobility & Founding Director, Quantum Leap; and Mrs. Lagna Panda, CHRO, CSM Technologies, visited our Institute today and appreciated the work and initiatives being undertaken.

Hon’ble Minister Shri Nityananda Gond inaugurated the SIEP Satellite Centre at Jatni. He interacted with Children with Disabilities and their parents, and reviewed the functioning of the centre with SIEP officials, reaffirming the Government of Odisha’s commitment to inclusive and accessible services.

38 Resource Persons (CwSNs) along with the District Inclusive Education Coordinator, Mayurbhanj district, visited Manodaya (SIEP) on 6th January for educational exposure and practical experience. Interacted with the SIEP team and appreciated the holistic approach of the programme.
