Pre - SIR ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਗਹਿਰੀ ਸੁਧਾਈ (SIR) ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਪੜਾਅ ਹੈ। ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਵੋਟਰ ਰਿਕਾਰਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਦੀਕ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣਿਕਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ 2003 ਦੀ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

A virtual meeting to review preparations for SIR in Punjab was organized today by CEO Punjab Ms Anindita Mitra IAS under the Chairmanship of Sh BhanuPrakash Yetru IAS, Sr Deputy Election Commissioner. Sh. Sanjay Kumar IAS, Deputy Election Commissioner, along with District Election Officers (DEOs), Additional District Election Officers (ADEOs), Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), and Election Tehsildars (ETs) from all districts of Punjab joined the meeting.

Officers were directed to ensure the seamless ex*****on of all activities related to SIR 2026 and to make necessary arrangements for the smooth and successful completion of the revision process.
