An important meeting regarding necessary preparations and arrangements for celebration of Independence Day on 15 August 2026 was held under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Charar I Sharief in his office Chambers today on 08-08-2026 at 11:30 a.m in which following officers and officials participated.

In the meeting all issues regarding arrangements were thoroughly discussed and place of venue and time of hoisting of national Flag was also finalised.All line departments were also directed to ensure the participation of all employees of their respective departments in the independence Day function. The meeting ended with the vote of thanks to the chair.

At the outset, Tehsildar Charar i Sharief welcomed all the participants and the chair appreciated the efforts put in place by the different Departments for making arrangements on the occasion of this years independence Day function and hoped all the requisite arrangements for the independence Day Celebration 2026 would be arranged with zeal and full vigour . It was impressed upon all the officers of Civil/ Police to maintain close coordination and initiative to make the forthcoming function successful. Department wise arrangements to be made were discussed and preparedness by different departments was assessed.
During the deliberations of the meeting, following decisions were taken:
1. Venue of Function: The venue of function shall be the Dak Bunglow Charar I Sharief
2.Flag Unfurling :- The flag hoisting shall take place at Dak Bunglow Charar i Sharief at 09:00a.m Sharp. The station House Officer shall deploy sufficient no of police Personnel for smooth flag unfurling
3. Dias & Public Address System:-The ZEO Charar I Sharief shall provide the Dias and the Principal Govt Girls Higher Secondary Charar I Sharief shall provide Public addressing system of Good quality and shall ensure its installation a day before the day of celebration of republic day.
4. Tent & Seating arrangements:-Executive Engineer (R&B) Charar I Sharief will arrange Tent/Shamiyana and at least 300 chairs.
5. Cultural Programme and Anchoring:-To ensure a vibrant cultural program, Javaid Ahmad Kaw Lecturer Govt BHSS Charar I Charar I Sharief will be Dias Incharge and Principals of BHSS & GHSS Charar I Sharief shall organise some performances featuring folk music and traditional dance through their well trained students.
6. Security Arrangements:-all the necessary arrangements regarding the security and deployment of security personnel in and around the venue shall be made by SHO Charar i Sharief.
7. Refreshment for Guest/ audience & Distribution Of Sweets:- Block Development Officer Charar I Sharief and Tehsil supply officer Charar I Sharief shall jointly arrange the Tea, Sweets & Dry fruits for Guests and tea for audience at the venue on the day of celebration.
8. Medical Assistance:- BMO Charar i Sharief shall depute a Medical team along with one doctor and one no of Ambulance at the venue of the function.
9. Drinking water Facility:-AEE PHE shall ensure adequate supply of bottled drinking water at the venue of the function.
10. Electricity:-AEE PDD shall ensure proper electricity supply at the venue of the function.
11. Fire Fighting Arrangements:-The fire and emergency services department will ensure availability of fire tenders and fire fighting vehicles as per protocol.
12. illumination of important Govt buildings especially Main venue:- AEE PDD Charar I Sharief shall make necessary arrangements in this regard.
13. Executive office Municipal committee Charar i Sharief shall ensure sanitation in and around venue well in advance.
At last, the meeting ended with the vote of thanks to the chair and at the same time it was decided that all departments shall ensure participation of all their subordinate employees in the independence Day function. Sd
