I am also glad to share the news that we have recently supported education expenses for a secondary school student in Tamil Nadu. Also, many more forever green campaigns are planned in the coming months.

As everyone are aware, today is world environment day. As we all observe individual responsibility as a key to environmental wellbeing, there is something more to spread.

In view of its cause to support education for deserving students with good academic merit, naduvan is proud to have successfully sponsored educational expense for a student currently doing his 12th std at SMB School, Dindigul.

Glad to share the happy news, and let us all hope our student comes out with flying colors; and gets into a decent college with good academic merit.

About the Position:
naduvan is a non-profit organization that promotes social thought leadership well being of the world community. Our organization is composed three components to - Think, Generate and Implement Social Thought Leadership. As a research-focused organization involved in making actionable knowledge; Social Thought Leaders and Community Research Experts at naduvan play a key role in our daily operations. As a Community Research Expert at naduvan, your work involves executing a range of research offered by naduvan to its global clientele. The core focus of our research services are aligned towards the areas of corporate philanthropy, responsible business, leadership ethics, community development best practices, and validation of global community challenges. This position is offered on free-lance basis, and accommodate working from remote locations.

Description of Profile:
An ideal candidate will possess sufficient knowledge on responsible and sustainable practices of corporates, NGOs and public sector entities. It is beneficial if the candidate has acquired any academic qualification in this area, or have worked/is working as part of CSR initiatives.

As a Community Research Expert at naduvan, you will have the opportunity to interact with senior corporate leaders, policy makers, regulatory experts and industry research experts on a regular basis to Identify, Evaluate and Implement viable strategies. The recommendations given by you will be used in building overall productivity and brand quality of an organization.

Responsibilities of this Role:
Prior experience in journalism, market research or consulting background is preferred as we expect the candidate to contribute to high quality and well researched articles. An opportunity to be part of the community research team that work towards addressing global challenges facing the modern society by developing unbiased strategies for sustainable growth of the three sectors of NGOs, Corporate Entities and Public Sector Organizations.

The candidate must be able to:
1. Work on a variety of planned topics to create syndicate research reports, articles, and on-demand briefings on select focus areas set by naduvan
2. Strong capability to manage pipeline, and interact on a constant basis with global leaders across three sectors of NGO, Corporate and Public
3. Developing strategic content on specific sectors, and contribute to print media on a regular basis
4. Provide active support to any media enquiries, client queries and on-demand brainstorming sessions
5. Ensure high quality and timely delivery of assignments

Qualification & Experience:
1. The prospective candidate must be a graduate in the areas of journalism, psychology, marketing, business administration, sociology, and social services
2. Must possess atleast 2 years of experience working for an NGO, or corporate entity, and have contributed atleast two or more quality articles on corporate social responsibility and related areas
3. The candidate should possess sound analytical thinking and an ability to handle research projects independently

On this auspicious day, I am glad to inform you that we have reached 50 Fans for our page. It was last year on the same day of October 2, Gandhi Jayanti, naduvan was founded. It has been one (1) year and the journey has been good, both in terms of learning and milestones reached.

naduvan has aggressive plans moving forward, all marked with deadlines. Some of these are outlined below:

1. By April 2014 - To reach atleast 20 Social Thought Leaders for naduvan's activities and planning activities
2. By May 2014 - To Officially Partner with 2 to 3 NGOs
3. By June 2014 - Dispatch Merit Scholarships to Students
4. By September 2014 - To Certify atleast 5 Corporate Partners for Social Thought Leadership
5. By October 2014 - Revision of Causes, both fighting and supporting causes

The success so far is attributed to all Social Thought Leaders who have supported us to promote our causes. Look forward to welcoming many more Social Thought Leaders into naduvan in the coming days.

As a direct result of this Nilgiris has expressed support to spread our causes through their outlets. We will soon be reaching many other retail outlets interested in promoting naduvan's causes in Chennai and other key cities.

Charanya works with Frost & Sullivan, a global strategy consulting company. As a industry research expert in information technologies sector, her contributions are invaluable to naduvan's growth and her sincere efforts are very much appreciated.
