𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙤𝙣 𝙀𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢 𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙈 𝙈𝙄𝙏𝙍𝘼 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙠, 𝘼𝙢𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞.

PM MITRA Park, Amravati continues to expand its integrated textile ecosystem with the allotment of 60 acres for a state-of-the-art Cotton Ginning, Research and Agri-Processing Campus. The facility, being established by TTY Projects India Private Limited, is set to reinforce the Park’s role as a large-scale textile manufacturing hub.

Conceived as a long-term anchor development, the project aims to support modernization, quality enhancement, and resilience across India’s cotton value chain, with a particular focus on the Vidarbha cotton belt. The campus is designed to integrate two complementary ginning technologies within a unified industrial system, enabling optimized processing based on harvesting methods, fibre characteristics, and end-use requirements.

With a proposed investment of ₹150 Crore and estimated employment generation of ~250 jobs (50 direct in Phase 1), this development marks a significant step toward strengthening upstream textile infrastructure at scale.

Progress under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM) was reviewed during the engagement with Export Promotion Councils. Key interventions include enhanced access to export credit through interest subvention, collateral guarantee support for MSME exporters and targeted market access initiatives. Additional measures in trade finance, logistics, compliance and branding are being implemented in phases to further reinforce India’s export ecosystem and accelerate global integration.

The interaction focused on maximising gains from recently concluded trade agreements with major developed partners, strengthening market access, upgrading quality standards and expanding into new geographies. Export stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to scale merchandise and services exports and deepen India’s integration with global value chains.

Four Labour Codes are strengthening India’s export sector by ensuring social security, timely wages, and safer workplaces for all workers.

With the Four Labour Codes into effect, textile workers now receive stronger protections and improved welfare benefits.The reforms assure that all migrant workers receive equal wages, welfare support and PDS portability Workers can now raise claims for up to 3 years for pending dues, making dispute resolution easier. The Codes also provide double wages for overtime, strengthening financial security for hardworking textile employees. 𝗔𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴

At PM MITRA Park, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, a strong export-oriented textile ecosystem is being developed to drive large-scale manufacturing and global competitiveness.

₹184.80 Cr. worth of external infrastructure works are currently in progress, while ₹364 Cr. core infrastructure works are being implemented within the park, laying a solid foundation for industrial growth.

Investor confidence is evident, with ₹2076 Cr. worth of investment interest received along with the application of allotment for 201 acres of land in the first call for applications. Work on the internal water supply system is also under ex*****on, strengthening essential infrastructure readiness.

A major textile export hub is taking shape, right here in Virudhunagar.
