Shri Subodh Uniyal, Hon’ble Minister of Forests, Government of Uttarakhand, visited Rishikesh on 12.02.2026. Shri Abhishekh Ruhela (IAS), Program Director, and Shri Vinay Mishra, Additional Program Director, submitted their inputs regarding development works related to water supply, sewerage, drainage, flood mitigation management, mobility, etc., proposed under the IUIDR project funded by KfW Development Bank.

In order to ensure the integrated development of Rishikesh town, Shri Abhishek Ruhela, PD, UUSDA, led a joint visit assisted by line agencies including Nagar Nigam, UPJN, Jal Sansthan, PWD, UPCL, UIIDB, Irrigation, and others. The PD, UUSDA, directed all stakeholders to align on a common platform with a conceptualized vision.

UUSDA कम्युनिटी महिलाओं के लिए अलग-अलग ट्रेनिंग प्रोग्राम चला रहा है ताकि उन्हें डेवलपमेंट सेक्टर के प्रोजेक्ट्स में मौके मिल सकें। इन ट्रेनिंग का मकसद कम्युनिटी महिलाओं को गैर-पारंपरिक प्रोफेशन में संभावनाओं को तलाशने में मदद करना है।
