Sanjay Sondhi is a Dehradun-based naturalist. An engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (1987), the study of natural history has been his passion for more than four decades. His natural history interests include studying, photographing and writing about nature with a special interest in birds, butterflies, moths and amphibians and reptiles. He spent twenty years in the corporate world and in 2009, he set up TITLI TRUST (www.titlitrust.org), a nature conservation non-profit organisation which is devoted to studying and protecting India's lesser-known flora and fauna.

We kick start this month by inviting entries for the Butterfly Photography Contest to celebrate butterflies and their presence in our lives!
(No age group restrictions, contest open for all!)

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀:
1. Maximum Two entries per participant
2. Send your entries to [email protected] with the subject "BBMI_ photography2021"
3. Images should be in digital format JPEG and should be sent with the following details
a) Name
b) Telephone number
c) Email address
d) Location of the photo
e) Date of the photo
4. All digital files must be less than 3 mb or less with at least 1600 pixels wide (if horizontal) or 1600 pixels tall (if vertical)
5. If shortlisted, we may request you to send a bigger file/raw file later on.
6. Contest is valid for Indian residents only and for content generated in India.
7. Last Date of submission: 30th September, 2021
8. You should be the creator / copyright holder of the submitted photos.
9. BBM reserves the right of non-commercial usage of these photos.
