DPS Dehradun Hosts Principals' Meet and NCF-SE 2023 Workshop

Dehradun, May 30, 2026: Delhi Public School, Dehradun, successfully hosted the NCF-SE 2023 Principals' Resource Person (PRP) Workshop and a Principals' Meet on Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence, bringing together around 100 Principals and educational leaders from across the region.

The NCF-SE 2023 workshop was conducted by distinguished resource persons Mr. Sanjeev Jain and Ms. Madhu Sharma, who provided valuable insights into the implementation of the National Curriculum Framework and its alignment with the vision of NEP 2020. Through interactive sessions and collaborative activities, participants explored innovative pedagogical practices, competency-based learning, and holistic assessment strategies.

Welcoming the participants, Mr. B. K. Singh, Principal, DPS Dehradun, emphasized the importance of professional learning and collaboration in creating future-ready educational environments.

The Principals' Meet was graced by Shri Manish Kumar Tyagi, Head, Centre of Excellence (COE), CBSE, as the Chief Guest. He presented a comprehensive overview of the CBSE Annual Report, highlighting key initiatives and future directions of the Board. A major focus of his address was the integration of Artificial Intelligence in classrooms, stressing its potential to enhance teaching-learning processes and prepare students for a rapidly evolving world.

The event also featured vibrant cultural performances by DPS Dehradun students, adding warmth and enthusiasm to the gathering.

Expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, resource persons, and participants, Mr. B. K. Singh reiterated the significance of such forums in promoting educational leadership, innovation, and the exchange of best practices. The programmes concluded with a renewed commitment towards excellence, collaboration, and the successful implementation of NEP 2020 and NCF-SE 2023.

🌟 Day 5 – The Grand Finale of Skill Safari Summer Camp! 🌟 The last day was pure fun aur masti from morning till goodbye 😄💛We started with a refreshing nature walk 🌳 where our little explorers laughed, observed, and learned how to enjoy nature’s beauty without harming it. Every step was a lesson in love for our Earth 🍃😊Then came the big surprise — a special treat at Blue Raven Resort! 🏖️ The moment they saw the sparkling blue swimming pool 💦, their eyes lit up. Splashes, water games, and endless poolside giggles made it the highlight of camp 😆🌊And what’s fun without food? Finger-licking snacks 😋 turned the trip into a delicious adventure. Happy faces, messy hands, and full tummies made every moment tastier! 🍟✨With heavy hearts, the children said goodbye to Skill Safari Summer Camp 😢💫 But with summer vacations just around the corner ☀️, their smiles returned in no time. It was a summer camp filled with laughter, learning, and memories that will stay in their hearts forever 🎒💖Thank you DPS , for the magic! 👋😊

Today was the fourth and the final day of the Summer Camp, and it turned out to be a super fun-filled and memorable day for all the children. As it was the last day, a special Rain Dance activity was arranged for the kids. Children came beautifully dressed in different pirate-themed and other creative costumes. They were looking adorable, colorful, and full of excitement.

Before the rain dance activity began, we invited our respected Principal Sir, B. K. Singh, who came downstairs and clicked lovely group photographs with the children. After wishing the students, the rain dance activity was inaugurated by the Vice Principal Ma’am. She started the rain dance with water pipes and showered water on the children, making the moment even more exciting and joyful for them.

The children danced happily on fun water-themed songs like “Blue Hai Pani Pani” and “Ghode Jaisi Chaal, Haathi Jaisi Dum”. Teachers also participated with the children, which made the atmosphere even more cheerful and energetic. The smiles on the children’s faces, their excitement, and their adorable costumes truly made the day heartwarming and unforgettable. Their happiness was clearly reflected in all the photographs captured during the event.

After the activities ended, the children were wished Happy Holidays. They enjoyed a small party together and then happily went back home with beautiful memories of the Summer Camp.

✨ Day 4 at Skill Safari Summer Camp – Where Colours Danced and Magic Sparkled! ✨

The fourth day burst into life like a rainbow 🌈 after rain! We began our morning in a circle of golden calm ☀️ with prayer, then breathed in peace 🧘‍♀️ as gentle exercises painted our minds blue 💙 with focus and our hearts green 💚 with joy.

In Communication Skills 🎤, shy voices turned into confident colours as children learned to present themselves like bright stars ⭐ on stage. During Love with Nature 🍃, ordinary leaves transformed into emerald prints, turning every page into a forest of imagination.

Discovery Skills ⚡ brought real magic when invisible electrostatic attraction made things dance — gasps 😮 and giggles 😄 filled the room like fairy dust ✨! Life Skills 🧵 added practical sparkle as tiny fingers mastered the everyday magic of sewing a button and folding clothes into perfect little rainbows.

And then came the most awaited spell — Fireless Cooking! 👩‍🍳 The room bubbled with laughter as children rolled chocolatey Oreo Rum Balls 🍫, their hands dusted with joy and sweetness.

The day ended, but the magic, colours, and smiles will stay with us forever! 💫💛

Today was the third day of the Summer Camp, and the theme was Pyjama Party. Wow! The children were extremely excited, happy, and full of energy. Our little stars came dressed in beautiful night suits and colorful pyjama sets, looking absolutely adorable, smart, and cheerful.

As the children entered, the fun began with music, dance, and lots of excitement. The kids enjoyed a wonderful Balloon Dance Activity, where they danced happily with their friends and had an amazing time.

The highlight of the day was the much-awaited Movie Day. The classroom was beautifully arranged like a mini movie hall with proper lighting and a cozy setup. Children brought their popcorn and snacks, which made the experience even more exciting and enjoyable. The movie shown today was Swapped, and the children were thrilled and fully engaged while watching it with their friends.

The entire day was filled with laughter, enjoyment, fun, and happy memories. The children truly had the best movie-time experience at school and went home with smiling faces and joyful hearts.

🌟🚀 Skill Safari Summer Camp – Day 3 Highlights 🚀🌟

Another exciting day of learning, creativity, and fun unfolded at Skill Safari Summer Camp!

The day began with a blissful morning prayer, followed by energetic team-building games that encouraged cooperation, teamwork, and sportsmanship among the children. 🤝✨

In the Communication Skills session, students discovered interesting fun facts and participated enthusiastically in activities that enhanced their confidence and expression. 🗣️📚

A highly valuable Life Skills session was conducted by trained professionals, where children learned the basics of First Aid and understood how to respond responsibly during emergencies. ⛑️🚑

Creativity was in full bloom as campers practiced beautiful strokes of calligraphy and crafted colourful friendship bands, showcasing their artistic talents and strengthening bonds of friendship. ✍️🌈

The Discovery Science session was undoubtedly the highlight of the day! Young scientists were amazed as they explored the exciting reaction between baking powder and vinegar and watched their "fat fish" experiment come to life. The activity sparked curiosity and made science both fun and memorable. 🧪🐟✨

The much-awaited Foodie Session delighted everyone as children prepared and enjoyed delicious Shrikhand Fruit Delight along with a refreshing drink. The smiles on their faces reflected the joy of learning through hands-on experiences. 🍓🥭🥤

With new skills learned, wonderful memories created, and happy hearts, our campers returned home excited for another day of adventure and discovery.

🌟🚀 Skill Safari Summer Camp – Day 2: A Day Full of Discovery, Creativity & Fun! 🚀🌟

Day 2 of Skill Safari Summer Camp was packed with exciting experiences that inspired our young learners to explore, create, and grow!

The day began on a peaceful note with a morning prayer and mindfulness session. Through yoga and breathing exercises, children learned the importance of maintaining a healthy body and a calm mind. 🧘‍♂️🌿

Our budding tech enthusiasts then stepped into the fascinating world of Rodo Codo during the Technology Skills session. They explored how creativity and technology come together to create interactive experiences, while enhancing their imagination and problem-solving skills. 💻✨

The Life Skills session focused on learning proper table manners, helping children understand the value of good etiquette and responsible behavior. The fun continued with a hands-on clay modelling activity, where little artists transformed simple clay into wonderful creations, boosting their creativity and motor skills. 🎨👐

The Communication Skills session was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the day. Children confidently participated in public speaking activities and enthusiastically introduced their handmade puppets to their friends. It was wonderful to see them express themselves with confidence and joy. 🎤🎭

Curiosity reached new heights during the Discovery Skills session, where children learned the science behind invisible messages and created their own secret notes using magic ink. The excitement on their faces as the hidden messages appeared was truly priceless! 🔍✨

Adding a delicious twist to the day, our young chefs showcased their Fireless Cooking Skills by preparing tasty and healthy bhel. Through this activity, they learned teamwork, food preparation, and the joy of creating something on their own. 🍲👩‍🍳

From learning new skills and making new friends to exploring their talents and building confidence, Day 2 was a perfect blend of education and enjoyment. Every smile, every question, and every creation reflected the spirit of Skill Safari—where learning becomes an adventure!

🌈 Skill Safari – Explore • Learn • Grow 🌈

Today was the second day of the Summer Camp, and the students came dressed in bright and colorful clothes, looking cheerful and energetic. It was celebrated as Lemonade Day.

The day began with the morning prayer, followed by aerobics and the Jungle Dance, where the children enthusiastically participated and enjoyed dancing together. After the dance session, the students played exciting sports activities, including a fun game with the Hoola Hoops.

Later, Class 1 and Class 2 students participated in a storytelling activity using beautiful puppets and creative props, which made the session more interactive and enjoyable.

At the end of the day, the entire Kindergarten wing from Pre-Nursery to Class 2 celebrated Lemonade Day. The children learned how to make lemonade by mixing sugar, salt, and lemon juice on their own. They also learned how to stir the lemonade properly and pour it into glasses independently. The activity became even more special as Vice-Principal Ma’am joined the celebration. All the children happily enjoyed the refreshing lemonade with her, and everyone danced together with great joy and excitement.

Overall, the day was full of fun, learning, enjoyment, and enthusiasm, creating beautiful memories for all the children.
