RLDA Issues First-Ever Bid for a 500-Bed Super-Speciality Hospital at Jaipur under PPP Mode.
🏥 In a landmark initiative, Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has issued its first-ever Request for Proposal (RFP) for development, operation and maintenance of a 500-bed Super-Speciality Hospital at Jaipur on Railway land under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
The project aims to bring world-class healthcare infrastructure on the lines of leading tertiary-care institutions such as Medanta, Max, Apollo and Fortis, while creating a sustainable source of long-term non-fare revenue for Indian Railways.
Key Highlights:
✅ 500-bed state-of-the-art Super-Speciality Hospital.
✅ Development on Railway land through PPP mode.
✅ 25% operational beds reserved for Railway beneficiaries with priority access to treatment.
✅ OPD, diagnostics and healthcare services for Railway employees, pensioners and beneficiaries.
✅ Long-term partnership model ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery and asset monetisation.
This pioneering initiative marks the beginning of RLDA’s vision to develop a nationwide network of modern healthcare facilities on Railway land, creating both social and economic value for Indian Railways and the communities it serves.
📍 Following Jaipur, RLDA plans to invite similar bids within the next month for Super-Speciality Hospitals at Varanasi, Jammu, New Jalpaiguri, Visakhapatnam and Adra.

Manoj Garg motivated RLDA’s meritorious officers on the occasion of Annual Day 2026 held on 22.05.2026.
Shri Pervesh Kumar was felicitated for successfully delivering landmark projects in Bengaluru and Chennai. He played a key role in RLDA’s first 25-storey residential tower at Bengaluru, the tallest Railway staff quarters tower with Basement + Ground + 24 floors, built using Mivan technology for the first time in Indian Railways. The project achieved superior construction quality with an impressive 12-day floor slab cycle and branded fittings in staff quarters. The tower is now ready for inauguration.
He also contributed to the successful commissioning of the ICF–Padi Commercial Mall, Chennai, now housing Pothys Padi, one of India’s largest retail showrooms spread across nearly 5 lakh sq. ft., transforming railway land into a landmark commercial destination.

VC/RLDA Shri Manoj Garg, along with Member Projects Shri Anand Singh and CPM/ND3 Shri Gaurav, conducted a detailed site inspection of the proposed Holding Area locations at Anand Vihar and Old Delhi Railway Station.
The inspection comes following the successful development and operationalization of the Holding Area at New Delhi Railway Station (NDLS), which has significantly contributed towards improved passenger movement and crowd management. During the visit, the officials reviewed the planned infrastructure and passenger facilities for these important railway hubs.
With a continued focus on modern infrastructure development, RLDA remains committed to transforming railway spaces through efficient planning, passenger-centric facilities, and world-class redevelopment initiatives across Indian Railways.

Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) invites bids through e-tender for Engagement of Architectural & Real Estate Consultant for commercial development of railway land parcel measuring an area of 29,202 Sqm. (2.92 ha/7.216 acre) near Cuttack Railway Station at BHC end (i.e., old IOCL Depot) at Cuttack and Railway land parcel measuring an area of 19400 Sqm. (1.94 ha/4.794 acre) near Cuttack Railway Station at BBS end at Cuttack.

DG/IRITM, Shri Ranjan Prakash Thakur visited Gomtinagar Railway Station, where the site team briefed him on the redevelopment works of the station being carried out by RLDA. He appreciated the architectural design and elegance in the work.
He also expressed confidence in RLDA’s capability to develop world-class infrastructure including world class training infrastructure at IRITM. He advised the team to plan iconic structures on similar lines for other projects.

Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) invites bids through e-tender for leasing of a built-up area measuring approximately 3,58,568.65 sq. ft. at Lucknow Railway Station for a period of 45 years under the “Revenue Share Model”. The space can be used for commercial purposes such as retail, office spaces, hotels etc.
