Ten One Up students. 15,000 submissions. 50+ countries.
Several of our young writers just earned Honourable Mentions at the Cambridge Re:Think Essay Competition 2026 — evaluated through blind peer review by scholars from Cambridge, Oxford, Stanford, and MIT.
At One Up, that belief drives everything, built on a strong foundation of iteration, stamina, close reading, and the courage to rethink.Writing that is not performed. It is earned.

A powerful day for One Up.
We are grateful to launch our 6th Community Library with Youthreach India, implemented by Jamghat, to ensure that books and children connect across every level of society.
This journey began in 2018, when One Up launched its fundraiser. Year after year, our parents and children have come together, leading by example and showing how small, thoughtful actions can create meaningful change.Grateful to our parent community and Fundraiser partners for their constant support and efforts.
The Jamghat Library will serve 2,600 street-connected children, opening doors to stories, language, imagination, and hope. At One Up, we believe: Knowledge is power. Reading is freedom.

Our DIY session with pipe cleaners and ice cream sticks was an hour of building, bending, connecting, and creating.
At OneUp, this is what learning looks like: hands-on, open-ended, and full of imagination.
If you’re looking for a space where your child can explore and create freely, we’d love to have you.

A regular day at One Up.
Reading. Writing. Talking.
Listening to a story. Trying a new word. Asking a better question.
Bhavna reading aloud.
Ruchi working through spellings.
Children finding their own way into books.
This is how it builds quietly, over time.
