"A Message of Solidarity to the People and Government of Nepal"
To the Government Balen and the People of Nepal,
With a deeply saddened heart, I extend my sincere condolences and solidarity to the people of my neighbouring and brotherly country, Nepal, who have suffered immense loss of precious lives, homes, and livelihoods in this unfortunate calamity.
The heartbreaking images and videos emerging through social media—particularly those of innocent school-going children who have lost their parents, homes, belongings, and the security of their childhood—have deeply moved me. These young children had barely begun to see and understand the world, and yet circumstances have forced them to face a tragedy that no child should ever have to endure.
At this difficult hour, humanity must rise above borders, politics, and differences. The pain of a child is not Nepali or Bharatiya —it is human.
As a humble gesture of compassion and responsibility towards our neighbouring country and its people, I would like to personally undertake the responsibility of supporting 100 children who have lost their parents in this calamity. Through my Trust, I intend to contribute towards their education, shelter, basic needs, and a secure future, so that the tragedy they have experienced does not become a lifelong barrier to their dreams.
I believe that education is not merely a right; it is the strongest instrument through which we can restore hope, dignity, confidence, and a future to children who have lost everything.
I sincerely appeal to the Government of Nepal and the concerned authorities to identify and facilitate support for 100 deserving orphaned or parentless children, so that this humble commitment can reach those who need it most.
This is not an act of charity. It is an expression of our shared humanity, our responsibility towards children, and the timeless bond between neighbouring nations and their people.
May the departed souls rest in eternal peace. May the injured and affected families find strength and support. And may every child who has suffered in this tragedy once again find a reason to dream, learn, smile, and build a beautiful future.
Nepal is our neighbour, our friend, and our brother. In this hour of grief, we stand with Nepal—not merely in words, but through meaningful action.
" As Vashudhaiva Kutumvakam our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Narendra Modi ji's thought is always admirable "
With deepest sympathy, solidarity, and prayers,
