He began his career as a farmer before bagging a seat in the Government of India and eventually becoming the Prime minister of India. This day is celebrated to honor and appreciate the relentless efforts of farmers. Farmers are the foundation stone for our Nation's development. India being primarily an agricultural-based country makes farmers an incredible asset to the nation. They are the driving force of our nation.

Team NIVAH is glad to announce that we will be hosting Saksham’22, the Annual CSR Conclave on 30th October, 2022.
Every nation has pledged to reduce carbon emissions and stabilise or reverse climate change. Industries can achieve change at scales that individuals and even governments cannot, such as using green energy or recyclable materials in the supply chain. Industries will be the key to create a zero-carbon world.
Saksham’22 aims to enlighten the students on the theme “The Road to Zero Carbon: Carbon, Climate and CSR” by bringing them an opportunity to interact and gain valuable insights from some of the most esteemed industry leaders in the CSR domain.

World Food Day is an international day celebrated every year worldwide on October 16th to commemorate the date of the founding of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in 1945. The theme of World Food Day 2022 is ‘Leave NO ONE behind’.
In 2022, people across the world are coping with the aftermath of the pandemic, the impact of armed conflicts, increasing threats of climate change and rising inflation in many large economies across the world. These issues have severely impacted food security across the globe. As a global community, all of us have a role to play in bringing forward those who are left behind by making our food production processes more inclusive and sustainable with the participation of governments, private companies, civil society, academia and all other stakeholders.

World Animal Day is observed annually on October 4 to raise awareness and improve the living conditions of animals.

World Animal Day was first organized in 1925 in Berlin, Germany by German writer and activist Heinrich Zimmermann. In 1931, Zimmermann proposed to make the day universally recognized at the International Animal Protection Congress in Florence, Italy.
The theme for World Animal Day 2022 is “A Shared Planet“.
Animals are sentient being just like human and have every right to be protected from cruelty and receive justice as established under effective animal protection act. Their lives are also affected by the actions of individuals, businesses and nations and it is duty of everyone to make sure that we create a world that is a better place for all animals. With this aim, the World Animal Day is observed every year on October 4. The day embraces all animals and the unique concerns circulating them. It also aims to develop a compassionate culture which feeds into legal reform and social progress to make this world a fairer place for all living creatures by increasing awareness and education among the people.

World Tourism Day, celebrated each year on 27 September, is the global observance day fostering awareness of tourism's social, cultural, political, and economic value and the contribution that the sector can make towards reaching the Sustainable Development Goals.

The date of World Tourism Day is rather appropriate. It falls at the beginning of the main tourist season in the Southern Hemisphere and at the end of the peak tourist season in the Northern Hemisphere. As emphasized by the theme: Rethinking Tourism, This year’s official celebration will be hosted by Indonesia, celebrating this opportunity to rethink how we do tourism for a more sustainable, inclusive and resilient sector. The official world tourism day celebration will highlight the shift towards tourism being recognized as a crucial pillar of development.

Every year on June 5th, is observed to raise awareness and promote action to conserve the environment.

Climate change is making our surroundings warmer every year. Due to habitat loss and other pressures, over a million species are endangered. Our air, land, and water are all becoming increasingly contaminated.

Anthropogenic factors account for two-thirds of today's greenhouse gas emissions. We are using the equivalent of 1.6 Earths to maintain our existing way of life, and our environment cannot keep up with our demands.

We must protect what we have, and bring back what we lost to advance to a more sustainable future where everyone can thrive.

This year's theme, calls for a collective, transformative action on a global scale to celebrate, protect, and restore our environment. We encourage everyone to support World Environment Day to ensure that Earth remains a beautiful and comfortable home for humanity.

World Water Day, which has been observed annually on 22 March since 1993, draws attention on the critical nature of freshwater.
World Water Day commemorates the importance of water and raises awareness about the 2.2 billion people who lack access to safe drinking water.
It is about addressing the global water crisis through action. World Water Day's primary objective is to contribute to the accomplishment of Sustainable Development Goal 6: universal access to safe drinking water and sanitation by 2030.

This year's World Water Day theme is "Groundwater, making the invisible visible." The events and programmes planned for this day emphasize the importance of groundwater.

World Water Day is also a reminder to all of us to take action to tackle the global water crisis as water defines life for all the organisms on this planet. On the occasion of this Day, let us join hands to conserve water.

Every year on March 18th, Global Recycling Day is observed to assist recognize and celebrate the importance of recycling in protecting our planet's future.

The goal of the day is to persuade world leaders that recycling should be a global concern and to inspire people to be inventive rather than wasteful when it comes to the items they encounter.

The theme of Global Recycling Day 2022 is to celebrate “recycling fraternity” – those who put themselves on the frontline to collect waste and recycling during the multiple lockdowns.
