At our latest Energy Conservation Workshop, conducted by TERI - The Energy and Resources Institute in collaboration with BSES Delhi, students were asked thought-provoking questions:

👉 “If YOU could be an eco-superhero for a day, what would you change?”

At MCD A Block Gokulpuri, young changemakers like Pranjal are proving that learning about the environment is just the beginning—taking action is the real mission! 💚🌍
Thanks to the EN-Powered Schools Initiative, a collaborative effort by BSES Delhi and TERI - The Energy and Resources Institute , students are engaging in interactive workshops, creative activities, and discussions to understand pollution, energy conservation, and sustainable practices.
Pranjal stood out with thoughtful insights and creative artwork, highlighting the urgency of saving our planet. With young leaders like Pranjal, Delhi’s environment has a bright and sustainable future ahead! 🌱✨

🌍 If YOU could be an eco-superhero for a day, what would you change? 💡🌿
That’s the question we asked students at our EN-Powered Schools Workshops (a TERI - The Energy and Resources Institute and BSES Delhi initiative), and their answers were incredible! From reducing plastic waste to saving electricity at home, they proved that small actions lead to big impacts.
With the help of Tej, our environmental superhero, they explored:

💧 Why the Yamuna River needs urgent attention
⚡ Ways to conserve energy and reduce waste

🌿 A Canvas of Change: Students Painting a Greener Future! 🎨💡
Imagine a world where young minds take charge of saving the planet—one drawing at a time. That’s exactly what happened at our Drawing Competition under the EN-Powered Schools Project - a TERI - The Energy and Resources Institute - BSES Delhi Initiative ! 🖌️🌍
Students poured their thoughts onto paper, illustrating innovative ways to conserve energy and combat pollution. It was eye-opening to see that their biggest concerns were land and water pollution, showing a deep awareness of environmental challenges. Through art, these young changemakers are spreading awareness, and we couldn’t be prouder! 💚🌏

EN-Powered Schools where students exhibit their enthusiasm by participating in School Workshops have been ongoing since December 2024 in 100 MCD schools of Shahdara South and North. The workshops not only encompass sessions on the state of the environment of Delhi leading to energy conservation but also include a competition, solving worksheets, and awarding students for best inputs.

As they say, 'well begun is half done', we have already made 43 schools embrace the journey of becoming 'EN-Powered'. Join us in this movement to inspire change for a greener tomorrow. 🌱💡

🌿 EN-Powered Schools Workshop I 🌿

We are excited to share that we have kicked off the first set of workshops from December 2- 5, 2024 in Shahdara North and Shahdara South. The workshops reached out to 1,083 students who have been empowered with knowledge and skills on issues of energy conservation, efficiency and renewable energy.

We are delighted to share the success of the EN-Powered Schools Teachers' Training Workshop, held on 22nd October 2024 at MCD Pratibha Vidyalaya No. 4 (Girls), Mayur Vihar Phase-I, Pocket-4, Delhi-110091. 🎉

With the enthusiastic participation of 36 teachers, the workshop focused on integrating energy conservation, efficiency, and renewable energy into the school curriculum. Together with TERI & BYPL, we are empowering educators to inspire future generations to adopt sustainable practices and make a difference. 🌱💡
