A crucial Mental Health Awareness Session was successfully orchestrated by the Interact Club and Inclusive Education Club of AG DAV CPS, working closely with the Rotaract Club of Delhi South Central. The event, guided by the licensed psychologists, was designed to foster an environment of understanding and openness regarding mental well-being among students. Instead of a purely didactic lecture, the session utilized a variety of interactive activities that actively engaged the participants, encouraging them to reflect on their own emotional state, identify common stressors, and explore effective coping mechanisms. This practical, hands-on approach proved highly effective in normalizing discussions around mental health and reducing associated stigma. Beyond providing practical strategies, the session strongly emphasized the importance of support systems—friends, family, and counselors—as essential resources for maintaining emotional health. More than just a one-off event, this awareness session served as the official launch of Mental Health Week at AG DAV CPS, successfully setting an energetic and reflective tone for the week's subsequent activities and highlighting the school's commitment to prioritizing student holistic well-being through strong community collaboration.
