I want to appreciate Tukaram Mundhe for the work he has done in these 100 days.

904 raids. 322 establishments sealed. 457 arrests.

These numbers are impressive. But numbers are only one part of the story. What matters equally is the willingness to take action when action is required.

Having spent many years in public life, I have worked with and observed officers of great ability and integrity. I have always believed that when an officer has the courage to take the right decision and the freedom to act on it, the people are the ones who benefit.

A posting is temporary. Your work is what remains.

Gujarat has many capable officers. I hope they will use the authority entrusted to them with confidence, take decisions in the public interest, and never underestimate the difference their work can make.

The best recognition an officer can earn is not a designation. It is the trust of the people.
