Godavarikhani

Godavarikhani (Telugu: గోదావరిఖని) is a town (corporation) in Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh in the southern part of India.

It is basically an industrial area with a high population. It is also called as Manchester City of India. Most of the income generated in Telangana area is by this town only. It is surrounded by other mining areas like Srirampur, Ramakrishnapur etc. Its located on the banks of Godavari river and that's how it gets its name Godavari + Khani (means mines).
