🎓 Certificate Distribution Ceremony under the SAMARTH Scheme ✨

NEHHDC's Rani Training Centre successfully organized a Certificate Distribution Ceremony for beneficiaries trained under the SAMARTH Scheme of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.

Hon’ble MLA Shri Himanshu Shekhar Baisya graced the occasion and distributed certificates to the successful trainees, encouraging them to utilize their newly acquired skills for sustainable livelihood and entrepreneurship.

The SAMARTH Scheme aims to enhance employability and empower individuals through skill development in the textile sector.

NEHHDC successfully organized a One-Day Training Programme on “Sustainable Livelihood through Eri Culture & Castor Plantation” at its Garchuk Office, Guwahati on 30 May 2026. The programme brought together aspiring beneficiaries to gain practical knowledge on Eri silkworm rearing, castor cultivation, yarn development, cluster development, and value-added livelihood opportunities

The visit also marked the official launch of their new book. A meaningful step towards promoting sustainable, internationally certified Eri products from North East India.
