The Valedictory Session of the 12-week PWCC Level-III Course, comprising a total of 30 trainees from Squad No. 1379, was held on 19th March 2026 at the Auditorium Hall of APRO Training School, Jalukbari, Guwahati, marking the successful completion of their rigorous training programme.

The event was graced by Shri Chittaranjan Ojah , APTS, Senior Superintendent of Police, C/(T&A); Shri Madhuryajit Lahon, APTS, Additional Superintendent of Police (Communication), APRO HQ; and Smt. Shivangi Prasad, Joint Assistant Director, ISPW Station, Patna, who also served as the External Member of the TTB.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Inspector (T) Nayanjyoti Sarma and concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Inspector (T) Rabilochan Swargiyari. The occasion reflected the spirit of dedication, discipline, and professional excellence instilled in the trainees throughout the course.
WCN (WO/WT) Pinki Gogoi was awarded the Best Trainee of the batch.

The programme was graced by Shri Chittaranjan Ojah , APTS, Senior Superintendent of Police,C/(T&A); Shri Madhuryajit Lahon, APTS, Additional Superintendent of Police (Communication), APRO HQ; and Shri Nilamani Talukdar, Joint Assistant Director, ISPW, Dispur, who also served as the External Member of the Training & Teaching Board (TTB).

The event commenced with a warm Welcome Address by Inspector (T) Nayanjyoti Sarma and concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Inspector (T) Rabilochan Swargiyari.

APRO Assam Police Indian Cricket Team

The 4th edition of the Guwahati Inter-Departmental Cricket Tournament (GIDCT) T10 was held on 31st January and 1st February 2026 at the Beltola High School Playground, Guwahati, with 19 teams from various government departments participating in the competition.

The APRO-XI, the defending champions, once again showcased an impressive performance and reached the final of the tournament. In the final match, Fire & Emergency Services-XI defeated APRO-XI by 8 wickets to lift the title. Batting first, APRO-XI posted a total of 95 runs in 8 overs. Fire & Emergency Services-XI successfully chased the target to secure a convincing victory.

APRO-XI finished the tournament as runners-up, while CN(WO/WT) Sonti Kalita of APRO-XI was adjudged the Best Fielder of the Tournament.

The 77th Republic Day was commemorated with immense patriotism and solemn pride at the APRO Training School, Jalukbari, Guwahati, on 26th January 2026.
The occasion was graced by Shri Chittaranjan Ojah, APTS, Senior Superintendent of Police, C(T&A), who unfurled the National Tricolour amidst great respect and honour.
The trainees showcased discipline and unity by participating in the Republic Day parade. Inspector (T) Nayanjyoti Sharma commanded the parade with excellence, with ABSI Nurul Islam serving as the Second-in-Command.
Following the flag hoisting, the Senior Superintendent of Police, C(T&A), delivered a brief yet inspiring address, conveying heartfelt Republic Day wishes to all police personnel and distinguished guests present on the occasion.
