The 3rd Annual Meet of the Stenographic Cadre is being organized at the CSIR-HRDC Campus, Ghaziabad, bringing together delegates from various CSIR laboratories across India for a meaningful exchange of ideas and perspectives.
The programme was inaugurated in the gracious presence of Dr. N. Kalaiselvi, DG, CSIR & Secretary, DSIR; Sh. Chetan Prakash Jain, Additional Secretary & FA, CSIR; Sh. Mahendra Kumar Gupta, JS(A), CSIR; and Dr. T. S. Rana, Head, CSIR-HRDC.
The meet serves as a significant platform to discuss the evolving roles, responsibilities, and emerging challenges of the stenographic cadre in the rapidly transforming era of technology and Artificial Intelligence. 5-Day Hands-on Training Programme on AMS (Batch-II), scheduled from May 18–22, 2026, commenced today at the CSIR-HRDC Campus, Ghaziabad. The programme was inaugurated in the gracious presence of Shri Chetan Prakash Jain, FA & Additional Secretary, CSIR, India, along with Dr. T. S. Rana, Head, CSIR-HRDC, and other senior officials from CSIR Headquarters.
The programme aims to provide participants with practical exposure and hands-on learning experiences, fostering enhanced understanding and effective implementation of AMS. The inaugural session marked the beginning of an enriching journey of learning, collaboration, and capacity building.

Day 9 & 10 of the Induction Programme for Newly Recruited Scientists marked the successful conclusion of an enriching journey of learning, collaboration, and inspiration at CSIR-HRDC. The valedictory session on May 13, 2026 was graced by Prof. Manoj Kumar Dhar, Director Academy of Scientific & Innovative Research as the Chief Guest, along with Dr. T. S. Rana.
Addressing the young scientists, Prof. Dhar inspired them to actively contribute towards innovation, impactful scientific research, and nation-building through science & technology.

Induction Programme for Newly Recruited Scientists commenced today, May 4, 2026 with an inspiring inaugural session, marking the beginning of an exciting journey of innovation, learning, and nation-building.
Programme was formally inaugurated with the ceremonial lamp lighting by Dr. Bhaskar Narayan, Director CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Dr. Ch. Ravi Shekhar, Director, CRRIand Dr. T. S. Rana (Head, CSIR-Human Resource Development Centre), symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and the spirit of scientific inquiry.
Forty-one young scientists from various CSIR laboratories across the country are participating in this programme, bringing with them fresh perspectives and a shared commitment to advancing science for societal benefit.
The programme is being seamlessly coordinated by Dr. Shobhna Choudhary and Mrs. Preeti Chaudhary, ensuring a dynamic and enriching learning experience for all participants.
