Give to Gain: Celebrating the Power of Women at DB RRTS

At DB RRTS, International Women’s Day was celebrated around the inspiring theme “Give to Gain”, bringing together women employees along with the dedicated female personnel of .

The event featured insightful sessions on empowerment, safety, and financial awareness. Dr. M.P. Singh, IPS, Commandant – 5th Battalion, UPSSF, shared valuable perspectives on women’s safety—encouraging confidence, awareness, and the importance of continuous learning and preparedness.

Adding a practical dimension, representatives from ICICI Bank, including Manu Shah, Zonal Head – Retail, Ghaziabad, highlighted the importance of financial planning, smart investments, and building long-term financial security—encouraging women to take charge of their financial future.

The celebration was further enriched by inspiring words from Praveen Goyal, CEO, and Sanjay Mathur, CHRO, who appreciated the invaluable contributions of women across the organization and reinforced the commitment to an inclusive and empowering workplace.

The event concluded on a joyful note with a cake-cutting ceremony and a small token of appreciation for all participants.

The 55th National Safety Week (4–10 March) was observed across the Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut Namo Bharat corridor, reinforcing the shared commitment to safe and responsible operations in partnership with NCRTC.

The week began with the unfurling of the Safety Flag, marking the start of activities aligned with this year’s theme — “Engage, Educate & Empower People to Enhance Safety.”

The theme reflects an important idea: safety becomes stronger when everyone participates. Engagement encourages open dialogue and shared responsibility. Education focuses on building awareness and strengthening technical understanding to identify and mitigate risks early. Empowerment ensures that every colleague feels confident to raise concerns and act whenever safety is at stake.

Throughout the week, teams participated in online Safety Quiz, Mock Drill (in uderground section), Tabletop drill, Poster & Slogan competition and workshop on Safety in Train Operation and interactive activities, reinforcing preparedness and safe practices in daily operations.

The Safety Culture Survey 2026 was also launched to gather feedback from employees and further strengthen safety systems.

Kudos to our Safety team for leading these initiatives and to colleagues across teams for actively participating and reinforcing a strong culture of safety. Safety remains a shared responsibility that guides our work every day.
