Byatikram Anti-Drugs, Tobacco and Liquor Awareness Campaign

We are delighted to have the kind support of as a of the awareness campaign.

It gives us immense pleasure in informing you that, the Byatikram MASDO is going to observe the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, or World Drug Day, which is marked on 26 June every year, to strengthen action and cooperation in achieving the goal of a world free of drug abuse. Our proposed project also shows concern towards creating awareness about drug addiction and the issues it can create and preventing and reducing harmful alcohol and other drug use among the youths.

This year also, we are planning to observe the day from 26th June to 2nd of July 2023 to raise awareness of the major problem that illicit drugs represent for society.

The Hon'ble Governor of Assam, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria has kindly consented to inaugurate the 7-day awareness program in Durbar Hall at Raj Bhavan premises, Governor House, Guwahati, Assam on the 26th of June 2023.
