We seek to inform our esteemed consumers that the leakage repair work at Zoo Tiniali has been completed and water supply will resume by second half today tentatively in the areas under Geetanagar, Ramsahill, Leechubagan, and Narakasur reservoirs. However, consumers may experience inadequate water supply today due to low pressure in the distribution system.

We seek to inform our esteemed consumers that water supply will be interrupted today in all areas under the Geetanagar,Leechubagan, Ramsahill and Narakasur Reservoirs due to a leakage detected at Zoo Road.However, areas under Amiya Nagar and Sonaighuli reservoirs will not be affected.
Rectification work for the same has been scheduled for tonight. Water supply shall resume upon completion of the rectification work.The inconvenience caused is regretted. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Apropos the news reported in various news channels and portals today regarding a dead body allegedly found in the water tank of a Guwahati Jal Board WTP and claims that the deceased was an employee of the Board, it is hereby clarified that neither the concerned WTP belongs to Guwahati Jal Board nor was the deceased was an employee of GJB.
