09-07-2021: In two separate incidents two Irani gang (street robbers) members were arrested by West Police District Guwahati, both are booked in two separate cases under Jalukbari PS. Followings are the details :

No.1: Biren Gowala, S/O. Late Ganesh Gowala of Vill Fatapukur PS : Raiganj has been arrested in connection with JLB PS Case No 738/21 us 392 by a police team of WPDG. One motorcycle pulsar 220 has also been recovered, which was used in the attempted robbery at Maligaon yesterday morning. The accused was also arrested earlier in connection with two different cases under Jalukbari PS.
No.2: Bunty Gowala, was also arrested while he was trying to sn**ch a bag carrying cash from a shop owner near Goshala Bazar under Jalukbari PS.

09-07-2021: Friday morning, suspected heroine recovered from the possession of one Prakash Verma of age 45, S/O Hira Lal Verma at Lutuma Battalion Gate, of PS Fatasil Ambari.
Following are the seizure:
1. One soap box containing approximately 11 gram heroine,
2. Cash amount of-₹14,560/-
