Delighted to receive such a warm accolade of "10 Most Hardworking Organizations Of The Year" and for being able to meet and listen to the amazing stories of positive change brought in the society by so many kind people from various organisations,we,the team of Serving Happiness,attended the felicitation ceremony called the "NE Organization Convene 2022",an annual social welfare convergent organized by Wake With Wellness at Kumar Bhaskar Natya Mandir Auditorium,Uzanbazar on 27 December,2022.

What an encouraging and empowering day it was!Our Founder President,Anisha Baro delivered a speech on how and why we started while briefly explaining our objectives in the end.

Our hearts are truly gratified towards Wake With Wellness for inviting and giving us a platform to connect with so many incredible people yesterday.We are resolved to continue to work efficiently in the coming years and give best of our efforts to see the change we need in our society.Your love and respect will inspire us a lot in this journey.

Happy International Men’s day!

International Men’s Day is celebrated every year on 19 November to honor and appreciate the positive value men bring to their family, society, community, and the world. It includes topics around mental health, toxic masculinity, prevalence of male su***de, promoting men’s health, improving gender relations etc.

For 2022, the International Men's Day theme is 'Helping Men and Boys' to encourage men to educate the values, character and responsibilities of being a man to boys in their lives.

The Six Pillars of men's day are:

promote positive male role models,

To celebrate men’s positive contributions to society,

To focus on men’s health and wellbeing,

To highlight discrimination against men,

To improve gender relations and promote gender equality,

To create a safer, better world.

Also it is high time to recognize and honor the contributions and sacrifices that a man makes for his family and society.

On the occasion of Children's Day, we, the members of Serving Happiness visited Manik Chandra Baruah High School and organised an 'On the Spot Art Competition ' among its students. The programme which was held on a very short notice, started with the lighting of the lamp which was presided over by the honourable Principal of the school. Then, one of our members, Siddhanta , spoke in brief about the significance of this day highlighting the noble purposes of our NGO . The competition then got commenced at 11 A.M . The participants were divided into two separate groups, one included the students of class VI and the other included students of class VII and above. They were given separate themes and were allotted a time period of half an hour to finish their art work. We were impressed by the creative sparks of the students and their eagerness to put their best efforts for the competition. Soon the competition got over and although it was difficult to choose, we awarded the best artist of each group with a gift hamper and wished them all the very best for their future endeavours. Dhritiraj, the content creator of 'Memes Live ' soon joined us and was kind enough to give away his clothing merchandise amongst the students. We were quite happy to see the satisfactory smiles on the faces of the children.We are thankful to the authorities of Manik Chandra Baruah High School for providing us this golden opportunity to organise this event and would hope to collaborate with them on future activities of our NGO .

And today and every day, may we all be reminded, aware, sensitive, and knowledgeable about the su***de cases happening around us. Su***de is not a joke, a lot of people have committed it, and others are attempting to do it.
Our actions have consequences, good and bad. Let us do our part and help prevent su***de. It does not guarantee a 100% chance but at least we did something.

As we celebrate the 75 years of Independence 'The Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav', let us take a moment to remember the contributions of those souls who gave it their all for their nation and take a pledge that we will follow their footsteps and keep the sovereignty and integrity of our glorious nation intact.

Special Thanks to RCBPIT, Delhi and Hope Organization for providing us with all the relief materials. We received all the materials on the 1st of August and distributed them on the 7th of August in the area of Sarthebari, Barpeta.
Along with that we also thank The Period Society and Dr. Alamgir for providing us with all the medical and healthcare assistance and making this campaign a success.
With this Phase 2 of the Flood Relief campaign was organised successfully .
