STF, Assam and Assam Police have been acting relentlessly and promptly against the menace of drugs, especially over the past three to four years. STF, Assam alone has, to date, recovered 62 kg of he**in, 12,47,898 psychotropic tablets/YABA, along with large quantities of o***m, g***a, cough syrups, and other contraband—amounting to an estimated market value of approximately ₹507 crore.

Between March 2023 and the present, STF, Assam has conducted 289 operations, resulting in the arrest of 548 drug dealers and peddlers.

Today, as part of the Nationwide Drug Awareness Campaign, STF, Assam organized a day-long awareness programme at various public locations across Guwahati. We remain firmly committed to our continued campaign and operations against drug peddlers and traffickers.

ড্ৰাগছ সন্দৰ্ভত দেশ জুৰি পালন কৰি থকা সজাগতা অভিযানৰ অংশ হিচাপে আজি অসম এছটিএফ-এও গুৱাহাটীৰ কেইবাটাও ৰাজহুৱা স্থানত সজাগতা সভা অনুস্হিত কৰাৰ লগতে সমদল বাহিৰ কৰে। ৰাইজ সজাগ আৰু সচেতন হ'লেহে নিচামুক্ত সমাজ গঢ়ি তুলিব পৰা যাব।

In a targeted anti-narcotics operation, STF Assam intercepted a vehicle at ISBT based on specific intel regarding he**in trafficking from a neighbouring state to Guwahati.

STF Assam foils wildlife smuggling bid at Mohanbari, Dibrugarh—3 arrested with 11 Tokay Gecko lizards, destined for illegal trade. Operation led by DySP Satyendra Singh Hazari with support from Dibrugarh Police & input from Wildlife Justice Commission. Case registered.

Operation Update-

Acting on a tip-off, a team of STF led by Addl. SP (STF) Kalyan Kr. Pathak successfully intercepted a vehicle at Amingaon coming from Jirighat on the Assam Manipur border.
Upon thorough search, the team recovered and seized:
👉 41 soap boxes containing 533 grams of He**in.

In connection with this, two individuals were apprehended, and the vehicle used for transportation was also seized.

In an anti narcotics operation, an STF team led by Kalyan Kumar Pathak, Addl SP, STF nabbed a female drug courier at Paltan Bazar Railway Station and recovered 10, 000 Ya Ba tablets from her possession.
