Attempt to Silence a Revolutionary Voice: Cowardice or a Deep Conspiracy?

The Central Committee of the North-East Indigenous Peoples Party strongly condemns the continuous attacks on the family of our Chief Convener, Shri Jintu Patgiri. Unable to face a leader fighting for indigenous rights politically, targeting his innocent family reflects the moral bankruptcy of the miscreants.

Our Demands :
1/ Immediate Investigation: The police must identify and arrest the masterminds behind this conspiracy immediately.
2/ Ensure Security: We issue a stern warning to the administration to ensure the safety of the leader's family.
3/ Face Us Ideologically: If you have the courage, fight with ideologies on the streets, do not resort to cowardice under the cover of darkness.

Remember, no matter how deep the wound, our resolve remains firm. Truth will prevail!

Public Memorandum

To,
Hon'ble Governor, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Government of Assam

Subject: Memorandum regarding the protection of land rights and prevention of racial insults against indigenous peoples in Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao.

Hon’ble Sir,

With due respect, we, the conscious indigenous citizens of the Northeast and representatives of various national organizations, submit this memorandum expressing deep concern over the recent situation in Karbi Anglong district.
The racial insults and land encroachment attempts by external forces in the Sixth Schedule areas, like the Karbi Hills, pose a threat to the very existence of the indigenous community. In this regard, we place the following demands before the government:

Our Demands :

Land Protection: Secure 100% land rights exclusively for indigenous people in Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao districts.
Anti-Racism Measures: Identify and strictly punish external forces that racially insult indigenous communities.
Preventing Aggression: Formulate special protection policies to ensure non-Assamese and external forces cannot challenge tribal autonomy.
Right to Self-Determination: The government must strictly uphold the constitutional right of self-determination for indigenous peoples.

If these legitimate demands are not addressed with gravity, we will be compelled to launch a more intense democratic movement in the coming days.

Sincerely,
North-East Indigenous Peoples Party (NEIPP)
North-East United Forum (NEUF)
North-East Education Economics and Social Development Forum (NEEEASDF)
as well as partner organizations.
And the conscious indigenous citizens of the North-East.

Our beloved people, the youth society, and every conscious citizen of the North-East

Today, on behalf of Political party North-East Indigenous Peoples Party (NEIPP), we are here to state that our goal is not merely electoral politics. Our goal is to stand up as a strong, unified voice for Land, Identity, and Progress. We will present the numerical truth of the problems that previous governments ignored to the public today.

1. Attack on the Foundation of Identity: The Land Crisis (IDENTITY: The Land Crisis)
Our 'Identity' is linked with our land. But today, our land is not secure:
"Friends, according to government data, still over 63 lakh bighas of land (including 29 lakh bighas of forest land) are under encroachment! Furthermore, the Tribal Belts and Blocks are under the grip of illegal occupation. We strongly demand that we must introduce new laws to ensure the complete ownership and control of land by the indigenous people."
Regarding our Tea Community brothers and sisters:
"We have seen that the provision of land Pattas (deeds) has been announced for over 3 lakh 33 thousand families. But this is only the first step. Our question is: Why is sufficient land for self-reliance and strong provisions for the protection of their land not guaranteed for every labour family? The NEIPP will fight for the true emancipation of the Tea Community."

2. Demographic Security: The Immigration Issue (UNITY: Demographic Security)
The illegal immigrant problem, which poses a threat to the existence of the indigenous people, must be permanently resolved.
"Today, over 1 lakh cases are still pending in the Foreigners' Tribunals! Over 1 lakh 18 thousand people are marked as 'D-Voters'! These numbers prove how weak our registration and other security systems are. The NEIPP will take strict measures against illegal immigrants and ensure the demographic security of the indigenous people."

3. The Youth Challenge: Unemployment Rate (PROGRESS: Youth Unemployment)
While talking about 'Progress', we cannot neglect the youth society.
"The unemployment rate among our educated youth in the state is as high as 15% to 22%! This frustration forces our youth to leave the state. We do not just appeal, we demand that the participation of indigenous youth in government jobs and economic development projects be made mandatory! Our non-political platform, the North-East Education, Economics and Social Development Forum, will change these numbers by providing youth with Market-oriented Skills."

4. Final Protection: The Constitutional Shield (CULTURE: Constitutional Shield)
The Constitutional Shield is essential for protecting our culture and identity:
"Today, 6 communities of Assam are fighting for ST status, whose combined population is over 1 Crore! To protect this vast number of indigenous people, the NEIPP demands ILP (Inner Line Permit) as the shield of Assam's existence. We will seek Special Constitutional Provisions under Article 371 to limit central interference and protect the cultural and linguistic rights of the indigenous people."

Final Call

Friends, we will build our political future on the four pillars of UNITY • IDENTITY • CULTURE • PROGRESS. We promise to build a new North-East, where no indigenous person will be landless, unemployed, or without identity.

Empower the NEIPP. Unite with us for your rights.

North-East Indigenous Peoples Party (NEIPP)

Heartfelt Appeal to the Public on the Occasion of the Launch of the "North-East Indigenous Peoples Party" (NEIPP) in the North-East
To our beloved people of the North-East, well-wishers, and representatives of the media,
Today marks a historical day in the political history of the Indigenous People of the North-East. With the resolve to realize the age-old hopes, aspirations, self-respect, and dreams of progress carried by the people of the North-East and the Assamese nation, the "North-East Indigenous Peoples Party" (NEIPP) has officially launched today on this sacred land of the North-East. Through this press conference, we humbly appeal to all Assamese people to join us on this new journey.
Creation Background: The Struggle to Recover Lost Roots
We all feel that the political sky of the North-East sometimes becomes shrouded in darkness. The anti-people policies of central parties, self-serving politics, and internal conflicts have consistently overshadowed the regional problems of the North-East. The constant challenges to our language, culture, land, and national identity make us anxious. The future of
North-East's youth, the plight of farmers, unemployment, and the devastation of floods and erosion—all these problems have yet to find a solution.
In this critical juncture, a number of Assam-loving people have united with a deep sense of commitment to the land and people of North-East. This unification is not for the politics of power; it is a sacred resolve to reawaken the last life force of the Assamese nation. The birth of the North-East Indigenous Peoples Party is not merely the birth of a new political party; it is the resurrection of the dreams and self-respect of the Assamese people.
Core Principle: The Foundation of Strong Regionalism
The core principle of the North-East Indigenous Peoples Party is the 'establishment of the foundation of strong regionalism'. The focal point of our politics will be the interests of the Indigenous communities of the North-East and also Assam, the Assamese nation, and every community residing in this territory. We firmly declare that:
"The North-East Indigenous Peoples Party will, without any compromise, prioritize the regional interests of the North-East. Every one of our schemes, every decision, and every step will be for the benefit of the Indigenous people of the North-East, and will not be under any foreign influence or central pressure."
For us, regionalism does not mean narrow-mindedness; it means a common effort to protect the distinctiveness of Assam's multilingual, multicultural society, uniting everyone with equal dignity. We are committed to protecting the rights and dignity of all castes, communities, religious, and linguistic minority communities residing in every corner of the Indigenous North-East. On this foundation of regionalism, we are determined to build a strong, self-reliant, and progressive North-East.
Our Main Objectives
The North-East Indigenous Peoples Party has set some specific goals for the overall development of the North-Eastern States:
* Protection of National Identity: Strict implementation of the Assam Accord and ensuring constitutional protection for the Indigenous people. Preventing any harm to the land, language, and culture of the Indigenous people of the North-East.
* Economic Self-Reliance: Strengthening the agriculture, industry, and tourism sectors with a regional perspective to find a permanent solution to unemployment. Ensuring that the resources of the North-Eastern States are utilized for the development of the North-East.
* Democratic Decentralization: Ensuring the participation of the common people in the process of power and decision-making, from the village level (Gram Sabha) up to the state level.
* Enhancement of Educational Quality: Preparing educational curricula based on regional needs to enable students of the North-East to compete on the global stage.
* Corruption-Free Governance: Establishing a transparent, accountable, and corruption-free system of governance.
Humble Appeal to the Public
The North-East Indigenous Peoples Party is your party. Its establishment is not the result of a leader's personal ambition; it is born out of the collective sorrows and suffering of the beloved people of the North-East.
We know this journey will not be easy. There are many challenges before us. But we are firmly confident that if every conscious citizen, every youth, every farmer and labourer, and every mother and sister of North-East , Assam stands with us as a foundation, we can restore Assam to the glory of a Vishwa Guru (Global Leader). Through this press conference, we appeal to all political parties, student organizations, literary bodies, and national organizations to rise above their narrow self-interests and extend a helping hand to the sacred journey of the North-East Indigenous Peoples Party for the regional interest of the North-East.
The North-East Indigenous Peoples Party is not just a political party; it is a new response from the North-East, Assamese nation. Come, let us all unite and dedicate ourselves to this great effort of nation-building.
