It is one of the greatest challenge to share the Leprosy communities being transform and live a norm The changes that had taken place in the colony are:
1.
Leprosy Ministry in Motinagar Uttarakhand
It was in June 2011 I med one brother to whom I med in one of the Training for the pastors that we used to conduct there I met him and during our conversation I share about my desire to work with the Leprosy communities and Immediately he reply saying they have work with them and that he would take me and introduce the people. So on August 2011 we thought
of visiting the Leprosy village for the first time and I was introduce there as a pastor and that I would come and minister the word of God every week to them. After that they left for Delhi as they were staying in there, but then me and our team started the work. At first the people were not friendly at all they hate the outside world , they were very selfish and they used to get jealous of each other etc..Moreover man were drunkards, and they also gambler most of their time and they were not open at all. But we started worshipping with just few of them and then there were two womens who also have received the gospel among them and then there was one young man who studied in a Christian Lepers school and he had gone to YWAM DTS had knows the Lord but he had no fellowship and does not go to church so all this few people joined in the meetings and then others also join week by week. The Holy Spirit started working in the midst of them and they were very hungry for the Lord and for the word of God each week the word of God was taught to them and that all wicked things is sin and must restrained from all this. We also kept on doing prayer warfare and prayer walk in the campus and then the power of the satanic stronghold was broken and all skeam of the devil were also broken down day by day. There are about 70 families living in the colony and the area is 20 Acres of land allotted for them. One of our main goal is to encourage the children to do well in the studies and that by trusting God their children would have good future.
2. We would want to see their lives transformed in the likeness of Jesus, and that they would live a life of peace and joy in God’s presence.
3. We also want to see them prospering in their economic condition and also that they would be physically healed.
4. They should be holy and leave all those sins and wicked things and give up alchohol, secrets, gambling, and all the things that God dislike. By the grace of God all this things are happening and today the village had started shining as the Lord begin to blessed them.
1. One boy qualified for MBBS and now he is doing his third year.
2. Other children are all in the hostel and studding well and passing out well.
3. The parents are also very happy and they are economically doing much better as the different religion and rich people from the city comes to give them donation like rich, clothes, food, oil, etc…
4. Since most of them are doing farming and rearing animals like goats and chickens, baffaloes and they do farming and get grain, patty, vegetables, etc etc.
5. After we had started working in this village three families had build brick house and now are secured form heavy rain and cyclones etc. It is our desire to see the whole village coming to the Lord and that in future all this children who will be educated and will be in the Job etc and reach out to thousands of the people of Uttarakhand again may the Almighty God help us as we continue to work for this Neglected people and for Motinagar villages.
