The EPTRI EIACP has orginized a Mission LiFE awareness program at Government Degree College for Women, Golconda on 26 March 2026 focusing on the seven themes of Mission LiFE and encouraging participants to adopt environmentally responsible behaviors. A pledge was taken around 180 students and 35 faculty members from various colleges attended the sessions and actively participated in the program. EIACP Coordinator has delivered a lecture on “Advancing Awareness on Air Pollution and Greener Lifestyles” at a one-day National Workshop on Environmental Toxicology and Health.

On the occasion of World Water Day on 22nd March and World Meteorological Day on 23rd March EPTRI EIACP PC Hub in collaboration with IITM (Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology) EIACP has organized a expert talk sessions as follows:
Session-1: Significance of weather prediction in the Changing Climate by Dr. S.D. Sanap, Scientist, India meteorological Department, Pune.
Session-2: Enhancing Energy Recovery of Wastewater Treatment Plants by Dr. V. Himabindu Professor & Head, Centre for Environment at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). The sessions were live streamed on Youtube. Around 25 participants were present during the webinar.

EPTRI EIACP PC Hub has organized a MissionLiFE awareness program and erected a MissionLiFE stall at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Bolarum, Secunderabad, Hyderabad on 24th March 2026. Highlighted the importance of reducing the use of single-use plastics and encouraged the adoption of eco-friendly alternatives such as reusable bags, bottles, and sustainable materials.

On the occasion of World Water Day on 24 March 2026, the EPTRI EIACP PC Hub organized an awareness programme on water conservation and promote sustainable practices at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Bolarum, Secunderabad. The event witnessed active participation from approximately 500 students representing around 10 schools and 5 colleges.

EIACP has brought out a knowledge poster on Vanda tessellata, commonly known as Lattice Orchid or Checkered Vanda, is an epiphytic orchid belonging to the family Orchidaceae. The name Vanda comes from a Sanskrit word used for certain orchids, while tessellata means checkered or mosaic, referring to its patterned petals. It is native to the Indian subcontinent, China (Yunnan), and Indo-China. The plant has thick aerial roots, strap-like leaves, and produces attractive flowers with a checkered purple and yellow pattern. It absorbs moisture from the air through its aerial roots and serves as an indicator of healthy ecosystems. The orchid is also used in hybrid breeding but faces threats due to overcollection from the wild and habitat destruction.

EIACP has brought out a knowledge poster on Clerodendrum splendens (Flaming Glorybower) is an evergreen woody climber. It is native to West Tropical Africa to Angola and is commonly used as an ornamental plant. The plant has dark green glossy leaves and produces dense clusters of tubular red flowers with star-shaped openings, followed by shiny black fruits when ripe.

EIACP has brought out a knowledge poster on Tabebuia rosea (Pink Trumpet), is a deciduous ornamental tree known for its large pink trumpet-shaped flowers. The tree has grey-brown bark, palmately compound leaves, and produces dense clusters of flowers. It blooms from late winter to early summer.

Greetings from EPTRI EIACP HUB, EIACP has brought out a knowledge poster on the, Elaeocarpus sphaericus, commonly called the Rudraksha tree, is an evergreen species native to the Himalayan region and Southeast Asia. It has glossy green leaves, small white fragrant flowers, and blue berry-like fruits containing hard textured seeds. These seeds are culturally important and widely used as prayer beads in traditional practices. The tree also has ecological and ornamental value.

Greetings from EPTRI EIACP HUB, EIACP has brought out a knowledge poster on the, Tabebuia aurea, known as the Silver or Caribbean Trumpet Tree, is a deciduous ornamental tree native to South America. It is characterized by silvery foliage and large bright yellow trumpet-shaped flowers that bloom in clusters during late winter to early summer. The tree thrives in warm climates, tolerates drought, and is widely planted in parks and avenues for its striking golden floral display.
