🌙✨ Eid Al Adha Mubarak ✨🌙

On the blessed occasion of Eid Al Adha, I extend my heartfelt greetings and warm wishes to all brothers and sisters. May this sacred festival of sacrifice inspire us with the values of faith, compassion, unity, and humanity.

May Almighty Allah accept our prayers, sacrifices, and good deeds, and bless every home with peace, happiness, prosperity, and endless mercy. Let us remember the poor, needy, and oppressed people across the world and spread love, kindness, and harmony in society.

I also appeal to all Muslims to specially remember our brothers and sisters of Palestine and Iran in their Eid prayers (Dua), who are facing immense hardships and suffering due to ongoing conflict and violence. May Allah protect them, grant them peace, strength, and justice, and ease the difficulties of all oppressed people across the world.

Wishing you and your family a joyful, peaceful, and blessed Eid Al Adha..

MBT Strongly Condemns Alleged Police Obstruction of Eid-ul-Adha Sacrifice in Narsapur:

Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) has strongly condemned the alleged actions of Narsapur Police in Medak District for reportedly preventing Muslims from performing animal sacrifice during Eid-ul-Adha.

Mr. Amjed Ullah Khan, Spokesman of MBT, stated that several Muslims from Narsapur contacted him and informed that police authorities were allegedly not allowing them to sacrifice oxen brought legally for Eid-ul-Adha.

Mr. Khan said the reported actions of police have created fear, anger, and confusion among Muslims in the area, particularly when there is no official ban on transportation or sacrifice of oxen in Telangana State.

MBT strongly condemned what it termed as unnecessary interference by police authorities in religious practices associated with Eid-ul-Adha and stated that such actions hurt the religious sentiments of the Muslim community.

Mr. Amjed Ullah Khan requested Shri Anumula Revanth Reddy, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, to immediately intervene in the matter and direct higher police officials to resolve the issue without delay.

Mr. Khan also appealed to Sri C V Anand, IPS, Director General of Police Telangana, to interfere immediately and ensure that Muslims are allowed to peacefully perform Eid-ul-Adha sacrifice in accordance with law.

He further requested Shri Mohammed Azharuddin, Hon’ble Minister for Minorities Welfare, Government of Telangana, Shri Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Advisor to Hon’ble Chief Minister Telangana on Minorities Affairs, and Shri Faheem Qureshi, Chairman & Vice President TMREIS, to immediately intervene and protect the constitutional and religious rights of Muslims in Narsapur.

Mr. Khan stated that the Government must issue clear instructions to police authorities across Telangana to ensure that no unnecessary harassment is caused to Muslims during Eid-ul-Adha celebrations.

He warned that continued harassment and interference in religious practices would only create mistrust and disturb communal harmony in the State.

Mr. Khan demanded immediate clarification from the Government and police authorities regarding the legal basis under which Muslims are allegedly being prevented from carrying out sacrifice when no ban exists in Telangana.

He appealed to all concerned authorities to act responsibly, maintain communal harmony, and ensure protection of constitutional rights guaranteed to every citizen.

Election Commission of India Takes Serious Note of MBT Complaint on Electoral Irregularities in Hyderabad

Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) Spokesman Amjed Ullah Khan stated that the Election Commission of India has officially taken serious note of the complaint submitted by MBT regarding alleged large-scale irregularities in the voter verification and electoral roll revision process in Hyderabad Parliamentary Constituency.

Mr. Khan informed that on 6th May 2026, MBT had submitted a detailed representation to the Chief Election Commissioner of India highlighting grave concerns over the functioning of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in several Assembly Constituencies including Yakutpura, Chandrayangutta, Malakpet, Charminar, Bahadurpura and Karwan.

The complaint alleged that mandatory door-to-door voter verification procedures were not being followed by certain BLOs and that verification activities were allegedly being conducted from political party offices and residences of local political leaders. Serious concerns were also raised regarding alleged misuse and unauthorized sharing of BLO login credentials and passwords, thereby risking confidential voter data and the integrity of the electoral process.

Mr. Khan said that the Election Commission of India, through its communication dated 21st May 2026, forwarded the complaint along with other representations to the Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana for immediate and appropriate action. Subsequently, the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana, through Memo dated 26th May 2026, directed the Commissioner GHMC & District Election Officer Hyderabad and other concerned officials to take necessary action as per Election Commission guidelines and extant laws.

MBT stated that this development vindicates the concerns raised by the party and reflects the seriousness of the issue. Mr. Khan emphasized that free and fair elections are the backbone of democracy and any unauthorized political interference in the voter verification process cannot be tolerated.

Mr Amjed Ullah Khan Spokesman MBT demanded:

A fair and impartial inquiry into the functioning of BLOs in Hyderabad Parliamentary Constituency.

Strict action against any officials or individuals found guilty of violating Election Commission norms.

Immediate safeguards to protect confidential voter data from misuse.

Transparency in the electoral roll revision process to ensure that no genuine voter is wrongfully deleted from electoral rolls.

Mr. Khan further stated that MBT will continue to remain vigilant and raise its voice to protect the democratic and constitutional rights of citizens, particularly marginalized and minority communities.
