An awareness programme under the Khet Bachao Abhiyan was organized by ICARтАУNational Meat Research Institute (ICAR-NMRI), Hyderabad, at Masaipet Village, Yadagirigutta Mandal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District, Telangana on 02 June 2026. A total of 15 farmers participated in the programme.
The farmers were sensitized on the importance of balanced and judicious use of fertilizers for sustainable agriculture. Discussions focused on scientific nutrient management practices, maintenance of soil health, efficient utilization of fertilizers, reduction in input costs, and enhancement of crop productivity while minimizing environmental impacts. The programme aimed to promote sustainable farming practices and create awareness among farmers on responsible fertilizer use for long-term agricultural sustainability.

A successful Veterinary Health Camp was organized on 08/04/2026 at Gattumalla Village, Bhadradri Kothagudem District in collaboration with the AH Department and IDO.
The camp focused on improving livestock health and supporting rural livelihoods. Along with veterinary services, hygiene kits were distributed to tribal women, promoting better health and sanitation practices.
An awareness programme for school children was also conducted, educating them on hygiene, animal care, and community well-being.
Such initiatives play a vital role in strengthening rural communities and ensuring sustainable development.
