Respected Veterans,

We 43 petitioners across India had filed the WP(C)-796/2023 in the Hounarable Supreme Court for denial of rightful benifit of Table 8 w.e.f. 01.07.2019 to Pre -2016 X-Group Technical trades Veterans post OROP 2 circular dated 20.01.2023. For this, we are getting legal support from my friend Adv Amitesh Chandra Mishra who is heading ACM Legal in Delhi and till now he has not charged a single rupee and brought our case at this hearing stage and further he is continuing legal support till the final disposal of our case. At this crucial stage of our case, Adv Mishra has suggested to keep a Sr. Advocate of Service Matters, along with him, if possible. It is somewhat financially tough for 43 Petitioners to higher Sr. Advocate as its cost is very high. Therefore we 43 petitioners discussed this issue and appealed to all affected X-Group Veterans for financial support so that we can put our matter in front of the bench with a very strong plea to get judgement in our favour.

We, all 43 Petitioners are sincerely thankful to all as you have believed in us and extended financial support to hire Sr. Advocate. Due to your valuable financial support, now we have a fund of around Rs 8 lakh to meet the legal expenses. Now only after 1 or 2 hearing of the case, we will come to know whether further collection of funds is required or not. If required, we believe that all will continue to support without any hesitation because it is a do or die situation for all X-group veterans.

Further, we promise that we will put all the collection and expense details here. Please have trust and faith as this crucial moment may not come again.

Today, rejoinder against Counter affidavit filed by Union of India as reply for Our WP(C)-796/2023 in the Supreme Court which has been filled for anamolies arrived for X- group Veterans in the form of table 7 and table 8 post OROP circular dated 20.01.2023. All the best for all X-group veterans. Let's wait for the confirmation of the next hearing date for further developments in our case.

*Case in Supreme court on X group Pay*

Mr Sushil Chaudhary who is founder member of our group, “All India form of ex-servicemen in public sector enterprises” is the main person who has filed this case and two main persons Mr Praveen Sharma and Mr Pranav Singh who followed and joined in this case. Now many Tom, Dick and Harry have entered in this Arena to take credit for this case and rather than supporting the case of diploma holders. These associations have devastated our case. Because of Jumping of these persons in this our case is hampered and we are not getting a date for this.

Some association are jumping with second class advocate or Junior advocates in the court, whereas our case is with senior most advocate of the supreme court with a battery of advocates and legal advisors. We have discussed this case and whatever the hope is there it is there in our case only. Other cases advocates could not speak well in the supreme court and were asked to leave by SC judge. Now we are the only hope left in the ex-servicemen community who can save diploma holders pension problem. If we fail in this case then no one will ever get the pension of diploma holders. You know in today's time difference is around 5000 per month and the arrear is around 2 lakh Rupees for individual Sargeants and more than that for JWO and above for lost 4 years.

So we should be aware that those who want to file fresh cases or anything are just misleading or making money out of it. you people should stay away from them. if you want to get along with this case just take membership of our Forum which is mainly of X group. I will request all of the people to just take membership of our forum and you need not to worry about the expenses of the advocate or the court expenses. That is not your headache and we will fight the case even if it takes years and will take it to its logical end. You need not to pay any fees for Court, just need to pay membership and become our members.

Our association has taken up the case of X group ESM. We have written to PMO and MOD on this and will pursue this matter with them through correspondence or even meeting. Visit the website to see the letter written by us and duly received by MOD and PMO.

Good news for Ex servicemen job seekers

There are plenty of Jobs available for ex-servicemen in the various government departments PSU banks.

There is a backlog of thousands or maybe running into lakh vacancies reserved for Ex servicemen by the government of India. But these jobs are not offered to the Ex servicemen whereas lakhs of Ex servicemen are struggling to get a job. As we know, there are few government jobs now. I find many people unemployed and studying and trying for government jobs. It's good that you are studying for your competition. Do hard work, come in merit and join a government job. This may be good for one single individual but I will tell you one more thing. Please be united as an Ex-servicemen community to get these jobs reserved for Ex-servicemen in government now.



Now let me tell you one startling fact: there is no government department or corporation or bank or undertaking or Enterprise which has got all the seats reserved for ex-servicemen as per their quota. If any of these offered all the seats to the Ex-servicemen, prove me wrong.

I am talking about only Central government jobs, not a state government job. There is no government department or PSU which has got all the vacancies marked for the ex servicemen fulfilled. If we add all state government jobs too then this number of ESM jobs reserved will run into lakhs.

You must be knowing what is the percentage of reservation available for ex-servicemen in central government jobs. It is 10% reservation in Group C and 20% in Group D in government departments. Likewise 14.5% in Group C and 24.5% in Group D in Nationalised Banks and public sector undertakings.

These Ex-servicemen jobs have been appropriated by the concerned department, public Enterprises, corporations, and banks. Now our forum has taken up many drives and taken up with the concerned Corporations and the government authorities if they are not giving sufficient reservation to the Ex-servicemen. The latest our representatives met with the secretary of DESW in the Ministry of Defence and apprised him of the problem of ex-servicemen quota not being fulfilled by the concerned department and Enterprises even after the Government of India rules on the same. Now to our benefit the secretary DESW has issued a letter declaring all the corporations to make a Liasiin Officer to look after Ex-servicemen and we are thankful to him for this job.

Now the responsibility is with us to see that in all the places Ex-servicemen get their reserved quota and now we request you all the persons who are preparing for the government jobs to be our eyes and inform us of any anomaly in any recruitment drive by any Corporation. Use this platform and send us all the recruitment related advertisements, if you feel that it is violating the government order.

I will tell you one thing that what efforts you are doing for preparing for the exams is good but slightly collectively take one more small step and keep an eye on the advertisement by the Ministries and posts and their details if you feel that they are not doing justice to the Ex-servicemen community, we will take up this case.
