Yesterday we observe the 10th Shahadat Diwas of the tragic institutional murder of Rohith Vemula on January 17, 2026, the pain and injustice faced by Dalit and marginalized students remain unaddressed. జనవరి 17, 2026న రోహిత్ వేముల బలిదానానికి 10 సంవత్సరాలు పూర్తవుతున్న ఈ సందర్భంగా, దళిత మరియు అణగారిన విద్యార్థుల గాయాలు ఇంకా రగులుతూనే ఉన్నాయి. హైదరాబాద్ సెంట్రల్ యూనివర్సిటీలో బ్రిలియంట్ స్కాలర్ అయిన రోహిత్, మనువాద భావజాలం, సంస్థాగత వివక్ష, క్యాంపస్ నుంచి బహిష్కరణ వల్ల సంస్థాగత హత్యకు గురయ్యాడు. ఈ సంస్థాగత హత్యలో అప్పటి MLC, ప్రస్తుత బీజేపీ రాష్ట్ర అధ్యక్షుడు రామచందర్ రావు, అప్పటి వీసీ పొదిలి అప్పారావు, స్మృతి ఇరానీ, బండారు దత్తాత్రేయలు కీలక పాత్ర పోషించారు.
