Social Association for Awareness Training and Human Improvement (SAATHI) is a Non Government organization and it has been established in 2002 under Rajasthan Societies Registration Act XXVIII, 1958. Its key role is to coordinate various stakeholders including NGOs and Government institutions in the overall guidance and leadership of training and integrated development activities in Rajasthan. In d
ays gone by, the organization has successfully implemented various government and non government projects on aforesaid operational areas and has setup milestones in the journey of Development. SAATHI is a not for profit, non-governmental civil society organization, which believes in participatory approaches. The focus is on mobilizing the community; educating them and sharing right information which would give them an advantage in their social, economic and political lives and liberate them from injustice, vulnerability and marginalization. SAATHI believes in the importance of using local wisdom and resources in all activities and processes. The key strength of the organization is the use of facilitative not directive approach to development issues. As such SAATHI leads a network of NGOs in Rajasthan for sharing of information, providing technical support, hand holding and facilitating collaborative activities amongst members. Our partner communities belong to urban slums at Jaipur, Dholpur, Bhilwara and also in the rural areas of Chittorgarh and Tonk district of Rajasthan. All programs are based on the active participation and involvement of the beneficiary group and other stake holders. The key sectors of intervention include

We are also trying to create a conductive environment for the healthy society and organization that will fulfill this target by generating awareness and mobilization. SAATHI believes in optimum utilization of funds and strives to disseminate the donor's perspective to the target people hence SAATHI is able to ensure transparency and information sharing in all activities supported by donors. SAATHI is a group of social workers, who have been devoting their services for the development of socially and economically deprived people, specially children and women living in rural and backward areas.
