'ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଦିବସ' କେବଳ ଏକ ଉତ୍ସବ ନୁହେଁ, ଏହା ହେଉଛି ଆବେଗ। ପ୍ରତିଟି ଓଡ଼ିଆଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱାଭିମାନ ଓ ପ୍ରଗତିର ପରିଚୟ। ଭାଷା ଭିତ୍ତିରେ ଦେଶର ପ୍ରଥମ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଭାବେ ଆଜିର ଦିନରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ରାଜ୍ୟର ମାନ୍ୟତା ପାଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ଓଡ଼ିଶା ପ୍ରଦେଶ ଗଠନର ବରେଣ୍ୟ ସାଧକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମୋର ସମ୍ମାନ ଜଣାଉଛି। ଆସନ୍ତୁ ସମସ୍ତେ ଆମ ମାତୃଭାଷାର ଗୌରବକୁ ବଜାୟ ରଖି, ସଭିଙ୍କୁ ସାଥିରେ ନେଇ ବିକାଶର ସବୁ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଆଗକୁ ବଢ଼ିବା।

ରାଜ୍ୟସଭା ନିର୍ବାଚନ ପାଇଁ ସଭାପତି ଶ୍ରୀ ନବୀନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ( Naveen Patnaik ) ବିଜୁ ଜନତା ଦଳର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ଭାବେ ବରିଷ୍ଠ ନେତା ଡକ୍ଟର ସଂତୃପ୍ତ ମିଶ୍ର ଏବଂ ଖ୍ୟାତନାମା ଚିକିତ୍ସକ ଡାକ୍ତର ଦତ୍ତେଶ୍ଵର ହୋତାଙ୍କ ନାମ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି।
କୁନି କୁନି ପିଲାଙ୍କ ଗହଣରେ ଗଣତନ୍ତ୍ର ଦିବସ ପାଳନ କରିବା ଏକ ସୁଖଦ ଅନୁଭବ। ଗଣତାନ୍ତ୍ରିକ ମୂଲ୍ୟବୋଧ ବଜାୟ ରଖି ଏକ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଏବଂ ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ଦେଶ ଗଠନ କରିବା ଆମ ସଭିଙ୍କ ଦୃଢ଼ ସଂକଳ୍ପ ହେଉ।
ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ଲଘୁ ଖଣିଜ ଚୋରି ଏବେ ଲଗାମଛଡ଼ା !

ନିଜ ଦରମା ଓ ଭର୍ତ୍ତା କୁ ଦାନ ଦେଲେ ଆମ ନବୀନ ବାବୁ💚
I have been blessed by the love, affection and support of the people of for the past more than 25 years. I am highly indebted to the people of Odisha and their love towards me and my late father Biju Patnaik.
Previously our family decided to donate its ancestral property ‘Anand Bhawan’ in Cuttack. In the same spirit, I would like to forgo the salary and allowances hiked for Leader of Opposition which the Odisha Legislative Assembly has recently passed. I would like to request Honorable CM Shri Mohan Charan Majhi ji to utilize the same for the welfare of poor people of our state.
