Friday,18th December 2025

Jamshedpur Women's Club visited Sahyog Village at Roopnagar Domuhani. A home for children from New borns to 7 years of age.

Jamshedpur Women's Club collaborated with Jamshedpur Green City Ladies Circle 123 represented by Chairperson Ms. Snea Sandhu, Secretary Akansha Luthra well wishers Mr and Mrs. Komal Barnwal and Mr. Gill. We provided essential winter supplies like blankets, warm clothes, healthy snacks, Lactogen 1 packets for new borns, fruits and educational materials, aiming to spread joy and offer support during the cold season.

All the volunteers were warmly greeted by the caretaker Mrs. Gurvinder Kaur and the enthusiastic children who eagerly awaited our arrival.

Volunteers spent time interacting with kids. Despite their circumstances, the children displayed remarkable resilience, optimism, and gratitude. Their bright smiles and eagerness to share stories and play were truly heartwarming. They appreciated the personal attention and felt special receiving gifts.

Monday, 8th December 2025

Jamshedpur Women's Club conducted a campaign for oral health. We organised a Dental Check-up Camp for more than 100 students at Utkramit Vidyalaya, Bhatia Basti, Kadma. Students were also provided with dental kits.

Resource persons Dr. Dimpy Prasad and Dr. Rashmi also featured a session that was both instructional and engaging, with the goal of enhancing the nutritional understanding and behaviours of the participants, including oral hygiene practises and the daily dietary requirements.

It was a well conducted project Initiated and coordinated by Secretary Pooja Bhalotia along with President Reena Vedagiri and Core member Sheetal Khaitan.

Jamshedpur Women's Club conducted it's monthly core committee meeting.

The primary purpose of conducting these meetings is for effective governance, strategic alignment, and operational efficiency. These regular, focused meetings allow leadership to monitor progress closely, make timely decisions, ensure legal and financial compliance, and foster collaboration among key members.

The meeting was conducted by Secretary Pooja Bhalotia.

Thursday 6th November 2025

Jamshedpur Women's Club conducts an Awareness session on
Menstrual Hygiene for girls of Utkramit Vidyalaya, Kadma.

The session aimed at increasing awareness among adolescent girls on menstrual hygiene, build self-esteem, and empower girls for greater socialization. Also increase access to and use of high quality sanitary napkins by adolescent girls in basti areas. They were also told on ensuring safe disposal of sanitary napkins in an environment friendly manner.

If girls and women are to live healthy and productive lives, with dignity, menstrual hygiene is a priority. In many areas, there is complete neglect due to low awareness levels and lack of access to sanitary products.

Dr. S Kakoli and Ms. Sheetal Khaitan spoke on myths and stigma associated with menstruation that leads to shame and silence, hindering open communication about menstrual health and contributing to health risks.

More than 70 girls in the age group of 10 to 16 attended this session. The session was conducted by Dr. S Kakoli and Ms. Sheetal Khaitan Coordinated by club secretary Ms. Pooja Bhalotia.

Jamshedpur Women's Club conducted a session at Indo Danish Tool Room Gamharia on Personality Development and Confidence Building. These are crucial for youth as they foster better communication, social skills, and emotional intelligence, which are essential for both personal and professional success. This development helps young people navigate challenges, pursue opportunities, and build strong, resilient lives by encouraging a positive attitude, continuous learning, and self-belief.

More than 80 students participated in the session.

Session was conducted by Founder President Reena Vedagiri and Ms. Kakoli accompanied by Ms. Sheetal Khaitan.

MahaAarti lead by Founder and President Reena Vedagiri, Mentor Smt. Purabi Ghosh along with members and friends.

Invoking and inviting the goddess to descend and bless her devotees. These rituals are not just expressions of reverence but also steeped in cultural heritage, showcasing the diverse customs of our Indian society.
