What a wonderful turnout for the very engaging and informative talk and discussion conducted by Dr Amar Jesani for the Second Irene Heredia Memorial talk. The audience consisted of students, activists, teaching faculty and academicians from all over Mumbai . Enthusiastic participation of scholars and teachers of Colleges of Mumbai University, SNDT Woman's University, TISS- Mumbai and professionals with disciplinary backgrounds of nursing, medicine, film making, journalism and development practitioners and women's organisations attended the event.
The event also featured the release of a handbook on Community Nutrition in Hindi by the distinguished guests present including Professors Vibhuti Patel and Medha Rajyadhyaksha. The audience were riveted by the speaker and participated in an enthusiastic discussion afterwards, the evening ended on a high note with tea and networking. We will be sharing the You Tube link to the programme shortly.

Hence, we have instituted a biennial public lecture in memory of Mrs. Heredia. This is the second biennial lecture. We invite you to attend the lecture with your students, friends, and relatives.
