आजको ग्राम सभामा गेलिङ बैगुने ग्राम पन्चायतका 61 परिवार लगायत दुइटा सरकारी स्कुल अनि दुइटा ICDS Centre लाई , खण्ड विकास कार्लय बैगुनेलाई मननिय पञ्चायत अध्यक्ष लगायत माननीय पन्चायतको बाहुलीबाट फोहर दानी (Dustbin) वितरण गरियो। अध्यक्षज्यूले सबै लाभार्थीहरु लाई स्वागत गर्दै सरसफाइ, फोहोर व्यवस्थापन र स्वच्छ वातावरणको महत्त्वबारे जानकारी दिनुभयो।

Today, on 29.07.2026, 11-Gelling Baiguney Gpu falls under Baiguney Bac Soreng District has been conducted Gram Sabha on Gram Panchayat Dev. Plan for the financial year 2026–27 and VB-GRAM-G under the chairmanship of the Hon'ble Panchayat President Mr Karna Bir Rai. The sabha was attended by Members od Gram Sabha, Hon'ble Panchayat Vice President/ members, and concerned officials.
After discussion, the following resolutions were passed unanimously:
Resolutions:
The Annual Village Development Plan for the year 2026–27 was approved.
The progress of ongoing development works was reviewed, and instructions were given for timely completion.
Necessary steps will be taken to improve sanitation, health, and education in the village.
The proposed budget for the financial year 2026–27 was discussed and approved.
All the above resolutions were passed unanimously by the Gram Sabha.

Today, a Mahila Sabha was conducted under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Panchayat President. The sabhaa served as an important platform for women to voice their opinions, share ideas, and actively participate in community development.The sabha is attended by Junior Faculty SIRD &PR Shri Arbind Thapa,Welfare inspector Miss Teresa Lepcha and CHO Nayabazar CHC Miss Sanchita S***a.
Various important issues related to women’s welfare, empowerment, health, education, and livelihood were discussed. The Sabha witnessed enthusiastic participation from women members, reflecting their growing awareness and commitment towards building a stronger and more inclusive society.
We sincerely thank all participants for their valuable presence and contributions. Together, let us continue to empower women and strengthen our community. 💪✨

Today aPublic Hearing (Social Audit) under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) for the Financial Year 2025–26 was conducted at VAC Premises 11-Gelling Baiguney GPU fallas under Baiguney BAC, Soreng District under the chairmanship of the Panchayat President Mr Karna Bir Rai. The programme was attended by respected BDO Mrs Pramila Gurung, Panchayat Vice President Mes Anita Chettri, Panchayat members, MGNREGA beneficiaries, village residents, officials, Self-Help Group members, and other stakeholders.

11-Gelling Baiguney Gpu update's
5Th June 2025
Today a Special Gram Sabha meeting was conducted on the occasion of World Environment Day 2026 under the chairmanship of the Hon'ble Panchayat President Mr Karna Bir Rai at the Gram Panchayat premises.
The meeting commenced with a welcome address by the Planning Supervisor Shri Sarbu Lepcha.. The Panchayat President highlighted the significance of World Environment Day and emphasized the importance of environmental conservation, sustainable development, and community participation in protecting natural resources.
As part of the observance, a plantation drive was organized in which Panchayat representatives, Self-Help Group members, and villagers planted saplings at VAC premises. Awareness was also created regarding the reduction of single-use plastics and the importance of preserving biodiversity.
The Panchayat President thanked all participants for their active involvement and appealed for continued cooperation in making the village environmentally sustainable. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks.
