Dr. Swaraj Vidwan, “Former Member- National Commission for SC, GOI and Patron of the Federation”, inaugurated the 29th Coordination Committee Meeting by garlanding to the photo of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and lighting the lamp along with Prof. Abhay Karandikar- Director, IIT Kanpur, Prof. Braj Bhushan- DEAN-Administartion & Officiating Registrar, IIT Kanpur, Mr. M K Diwakar, Liason Officer, SC/ST/PH/OBC, IIT Kanpur, Mr. Ramesh Kumar-Legal Adviser, Mr. Narender Kumar- Chairman, Mr. Lekh Raj- Vice-Chairman, Mr. Duli Chand Meena- Convener, Mr. R. On April 14, 2023, Dr. Ambedkar Vichar Samiti, IIT Kanpur, organized a grand event to commemorate the joint birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.
The celebration witnessed active participation from school students and members of the Dr. Ambedkar Vichar Samiti IIT Kanpur community. The event commenced with floral tributes to the portraits of Mahatma Phule and Dr. Ambedkar, symbolizing respect and gratitude for their enduring legacy.

The program included inspirational speeches, cultural performances, and discussions on the vision of Phule and Ambedkar in shaping an inclusive and educated society.

Dr. Ambedkar Vichar Samiti IIT Kanpur with support of IITKanpur plans to organize the Joint Birth Anniversary Celebration for Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar's (132nd) and Mahatma Jyotirao Govindrao Phule's (196th) birth anniversaries on Friday, April 14 2023. It is an annual observance. On behalf of Dr Ambedkar Vichar Samiti, we organize the events as part of the Celebration here at IIT Kanpur. As part of the event, we planned a drawing competition and GK Competition on April 01st 2023 (SAT), for Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT K, Campus School, Opportunity School and Siksha Sopan Anupcharik Siksha Kendra students.
The event will be organized at Lecture Hall Complex (L-18) at IIT Kanpur, Time- 11:00 A.M.
This year's main event at Main Auditorium on 14th April 2023 will be attended by the Honourable Director Sir Abhay Karandikar as a Chief Guest, Dy Director Sir and Mr.M K Diwakar, Liasion Office as a Guest of Honour and Staff members of IIT Kanpur. We request your support to make the event cooperation and further the cause of Bharat Ratna Dr. B R Ambedkar with your help and cooperation

Dr. Ambedkar Vichar Samiti IIT Kanpur smoothly conducted a Drawing and the General Knowledge Competition for school children (class 1 to 😎 organized on 26th, March 2022 under the Joint Birth Anniversary Celebration for Mahatma Jyotirao Govindrao Phule's (195th) and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's (131st).

On the occasion of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's 66th "Mahaparinirvan Diwas", a tribute meeting was organized by Dr. Ambedkar Vichar Samiti, IITK in the Samiti office premises on December 06, 2022.
The honorable Director Abhay Karandikar sir and Liaison Officer has paid homage to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Diwas and recalled his exemplary service to our nation.
His struggles gave hope to millions and his efforts to give India such an extensive Constitution can never be forgotten.

06.12.2019 को संविधान निर्माता बाबा साहब डा. भीमराव अंबेडकर जी के 63 वें महापरिनिर्वाण दिवस के मौके पर डॉ. अंबेडकर विचार समिति आई आई टी कानपुर, द्वारा समिति कार्यालय परिसर में सुबह 11.30 बजे श्रद्धांजलि सभा का आयोजन किया गया जिसमे समिति के समस्त पदाधिकारियों, सदस्यो तथा संस्थान के संपर्क अधिकारी डॉ. आर के सचान जी ने भारत रत्न बाबा साहब डॉ. भीम राव अंबेडकर जी के चित्र पर पुष्प अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दी।
