The Competition was organized by GROW BHART FOUNDATION, Indore Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Rajiv Varma-Air Marshal, Mr. Shashikar Choudhry-Air Force, Mr. Ranjan Negi-Hokey Player & Mrs. Purvi Agrawal-founder of Navya Group.

The 28th JASCAP Annual Day was celebrated on 12th June 2024 at KS Auditorium.
JASCAP (JEET ASSOCIATION FOR SUPPORT TO CANCER PATIENTS) provides helpful and empowering education through its Books and Publications. It also provides for regular monthly financial assistance.
The program included handing over token of financial and education assistance to patients by dignitaries. The beneficiaries thanked JASCAP and ACTREC doctors for affordable treatment and holistic care they receive at ACTREC.

We are pleased to inform you that on the occasion of Aashaadi Ekadashi, the team of To***co Quitline Services (TQLS), a project of the Division of Medical Records and Cancer Registries, CCE-ACTREC, Mumbai organized a TQLS awareness camp from 15th to 19th July 2024 at Pandharpur, Maharashtra. Through this awareness camp, the devotees were sensitized regarding the to***co hazards and the to***co cessation services provided by the TQLS, Mumbai.

We are delighted to share that Mr. Shyam Chavan, Technician J has been awarded the Second Prize for Sketching Competition at 21st Girimitra Sammelan 2024 on 13th-14th July. The Competition was organized by Maharashtra Seva Sangh, Mulund. The Chief Guest for the event was Krzysztof Jerzy Wielicki, regarded as one of the greatest Polish climbers in history.

Tata Memorial Centre - ACTREC celebrated the 10th International Day of Yoga on June 21st, 2024. In the sessions, participants learned Desk Yoga and relaxation techniques, guided by Yoga Instructors from Kaivalyadhama. The enthusiasm from staff and students was evident, with many pledging to continue practicing Yoga at home and incorporating relaxation exercises into their office routines.

The handover ceremony of High-flow nasal cannula (HFNCS) and Multipara Monitor donated by Rotary Club of Bombay was held on 15th June 2024 (Saturday) at Daycare facility, RRU Building. The Rotary Club of Bombay has donated 35 Cardiac monitors and 5 High Flow Nasal Canulas. A plaque was unveiled by members from the club followed by coconut breaking.
The ceremony ended with sweets distribution among patients.

We are delighted to inform you that Three of our Staff (Mr. Prashant Kadam, Mrs. Ulka Sawant and Mr. Jayraj kasale) have won three awards respectively at # # Annual DAE Sports & Cultural Meet (2023-2024) Cultural ( Music and Dance).
Organized from February 6th to 10th 2024 in Telangana.

Mr. Prashant has won ‘1st prize in Music ( Instrument)’ & Runner’s-up in group singing, while Mrs. Ulka and Mr. Jayraj has received ‘ 1st position in Group Dance.

Bhushan Shelar, Nurse ‘B’) have won two awards respectively at 28th Annual Meeting of Asia-Pacific Blood and Marrow Transplantation Group (APBMT) Nurse Meeting organized on October 27th, 2023 in Semarang (Indonesia) as a Hybrid Congress.

Sr. Amuthalakshmi D. has won ‘1st prize for Poster Presentation’ while Br. Bhushan has received ‘Best Oral Presentation Award’ at APBMT.

On 5th January, 2024, a highly insightful Public Awareness Guidance session was organized under the Vigilant Navi Mumbai Campaign initiated by नवी मुंबई पोलीस - Navi Mumbai Police which aimed at educating and empowering the diverse audience of ACTREC.

Dr. Vishal Mane, Assistant Police Inspector (Cyber Crime Security Expert) initiated this session with a comprehensive discussion on Cyber security, Online banking fraud, Social Media cybercrime, Women’s safety at work, Drug prevention, Road safety and active measures to be taken against these threats. The session delved into critical societal issues crucial in today’s digital age and workplace environment. His practical insights and real-life examples resonated with the audience.

We are delighted to inform you that Sr. Anila Jowin Jacob, Nurse ‘A’, Nursing Services has won first prize in Scientific Poster Presentation at National Nursing Conference (Building & Promoting Nursing Excellence) organized by Healthcare Global Enterprises Ltd. on 25th November, 2023 at Mumbai.

In addition to this, Sr. Anila has also won second prize in Poster Competition organized by Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN), Mumbai, India with a theme “Safe Surgery Together” during Peri Operative Nurses Week (November 13-19 | 2022).
