We are glad to know that our Hon'ble President and MP (RS) Sjt. Pramod Boro has been appointed as a Member of the Consultative Committee for Ministry of Home Affairs. This appointment in the very important Committee of the nation means he can;
● Raise issues concerning Assam and the Northeast, including the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
● Give suggestions on matters such as internal security, border management, policing, disaster management, and implementation of the BTR Peace Accord.
● Participate in discussions with the Home Minister and senior officials on policies under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
●Represent the concerns of people from Assam at the national level in an advisory forum.
